Beware and proceed with extreme caution. My mother died last year from a rare form of Uterine cancer. Cancer experts told us it was likely the result of prolonged use of HRT post menopause with a uterus completely intact. This therapy was promoted and prescribed for over 20 years by Dr. O'Connell. Upon diagnosis of cancer, Dr. O'Connell no longer responded to phone calls or emails. When we finally got a response from the office we were informed, "Dr O'Connell is no longer your doctor" In my moms greatest time of need, Dr. O'Connell showed zero compassion and abandoned her patient. In my opinion, Dr. O'Connell betrayed the hypocritic oath of DO NO HARM. Draw your own conclusions. Do you want a Dr who peddles proven risky therapies? Yet when the therapy causes harm, dismisses you to protect her own reputation? I wish we could hold Dr. O'Connell liable. However, ultimately its your choice. Hope this review helps protect others.

Is this person still practicing? One of her phone numbers is 'disconnected' and a message left on another has not been returned now going on 5 days. Not very professional!

I have been to many, many physicians over my 60 years on this earth. Dr. O'Connell is far and away the best Doctor I have ever had. She takes her time with you, really cares, really listens, never rushes you, and is just the type of person you would look for in a friend nevermind a doctor! I had to move to Georgia for my daughter, and I am fighting finding a new Doctor here as I KNOW that no one will compare with her and I just don't want to let go. She is a lovely, lovely person and helped me tremendously. I love her and I love her staff.

I have been seeing Dr. O'Connell for several years now and as a professional, I can clearly say you could not find a better clinician to take care of your medical needs. The staff is super and the care is unsurpassed. I would recommend Dr. O'Connell to anyone who asked me about a personal physician. She will meet all of your needs and then some.

My doctor since 1991, and have no complaints.I agree with the praises of other reviewers, and would add that she respects and encourages my own insights re a problem and possible treatment.She's one in a million!

The best thing about Dr. O'Connell is that she really listens to everything you have to say. She's very caring and wants to get to the heart of the problem. I have never felt rushed as I have with so many other doctors. And, lastly, she's excellent at diagnosing the problem. My only problem at all is trying to get through on the phone as they are often closed and you can't leave messages. Otherwise, excellent!! Four stars!

Dr. O'Connell is very patient and truly listens to all of my concerns. I love that she is so willing to incorporates alternative medicine into her diagnoses.

I have not gone to Dr. O long enough to feel comfortable reviewing. I do like the fact that she has received a certificate in integrative medicine from Dr. Weil and thus, considers alternative solutions. I'll revisit review when I get a couple of my problems solved - or, not.
