This dr. Promotes radiation therapy like it's money going in her pocket. She does not listen to her patients.She is not open to any other tests or treatment except what she promotes. My mom mentioned to her Many times ,symptoms she's had and concern about bleeding and a possible secondary cancer. She refused to listen, even saying it was probably her medication. We had to pay out of pocket for a second opinion dr who was much more focused on patient care and found a secondary cancer. We just wasted time, money and pain on a treatment that Yashar pushed that wasn't necessary. Now we have to deal with radiation damage. Avoid this dr. If you can and find one more focused on patient care

Dr. Yashar gave me too much radiation, to this day I'm in so much pain I can't even work. I've had to get two surgeries to correct all the damage. I have a colostomy bag as well as a urinostomy bag. The radiation burned through my colon and my platter. I'm only 37 and I have to explain to my kids why I have two bags hanging out my stomach. I don't recommend Dr. Yashar.

I just finished my course of Brachytherapy at UCSD Moores Cancer Center in La Jolla and can not say enough about Dr. Yashar. Superstar is not an overstatement. A competent and patient centered physician.
