Dr. Cecily Marie Agcaoili, MD

Dr. Acgaoili is an amazing physician. She is incredibly bright, intuitive, kind, genuine and professional. She is willing to take the time to listen to my concerns and always has a good suggestion of ways to help with the issue. She also knows a good network of specialists and is happy to refer them if needed. I trust her 100% with my medical needs and would recommend her to everyone very highly!

Very efficient and effective doctor. Listens well and provides good explanations of problems found. When necessary, refers to specialist(s). Excellent bedside manner. Communicates results of tests in a timely manner. Takes care of me and my wife. We are both happy with her care.

I have been seeing Dr. A for about 2 years now. I have always found her attentive and willing to spend time and listen. She responds to all my questions and has followed through with any of my symptoms. She has also always returned phone calls. I have never had trouble getting an appointment and find the staff very courteous.

My husband & I had just moved to the area from about an hour away so we were both looking for a new internist. We searched on our health insurance provider website and found Dr. Ag ( as in agriculture) cao (as in cow) ili (as in willy). BTW, this is how she told me her name was pronounced so that I could stop mis-pronouncing it. I researched reviews for her but because she just started practicing, there was only one, which was good. I let my husband be the guinea pig and switch first. He went to his initial visit & had no complaints. A few days after his visit, we saw her in T.G.I.Friday's. He politely spoke to her, and she looked at him as if he were an alien. No worries though, that has no bearing on her ability as a physician. Two months later, I switched. I didn't wait long to get an appointment & the dates and times were reasonable. I arrived at the office and the receptionist was helpful. I waited to be called back for no more than 5 minutes. I thought to myself,… good...this is going smoothly. I get weighed & my height taken by the medical assistant & I was placed in a room. She took my vitals. Everything was going well until she took my blood pressure. She grabbed my arm, put the cuff on, and when she was done, snatched the cuff off. I thought, she's a bit heavy handed. Then she attempted to take my blood. Before she began, I told her which would be the best arm since I have small veins & they roll.. She grabbed my arm and poked & prodded until she pretended to find a vein. She stuck the needle in and kept saying that nothing was coming out. Hmmm, would that be because you haven't hit the vein, I wondered. She wiggled in & out until she saw red. When she went to apply the gauze, she ripped the tape and placed it on my pant leg. By then, I was heated. I'm certain that doing that wasn't sanitary. The doctor came in a few minutes later. She introduced herself, while giving me a very loose handshake. We discussed past medical history and I explained that I had suffered from diabetes in the past but had recently lost 70lbs & was taken off all meds. She glanced over the medical information form and saw that both my parents suffered from the disease as well. She quickly stated that I should go back on meds. Really, lady? You haven't even gotten the labs back. She did a quick check of the norms for a physical but I couldn't help but feel rushed. Before leaving, I asked if she could refer me to a GYN. She said, we can do that, but never did. The next day I had experienced symptoms of a stroke. Long story short I ended up in the hospital. I called the office the next day to make her aware of it so that she could obtain labs. I was told I would receive a call back & never did. A week later, I received a vm from her asking that i call her back. I called the office letting them know that i was returning her call. i was told i would get a call back, i never did. That same day, i received my lab results from the physical in the mail.. Everything was in normal range including my blood sugar but my A1C was elevated. Her notes were, let me know if you want to go back on meds. This is quality healthcare? A physician that practices due diligence, refers their patient to a specialist if a problem exist. I am changing internists after just 1 visit with Ag-Cow-Willy. Extremely disappointed. Stay away, far away from this doctor, she evidently does not have enough experience!
