Dr. Changchun Wu

My dad went to see Dr. Wu for an annual physical earlier this year. When he got his test results back, his a1c was 7.1, but wasn't recommended any plan of action. Today he went to see this doctor again, because he needed a refill in his blood pressure medication. After going over his chart again, Dr. Wu told my dad that he is diabetic and that he needs to be on medication. My dad suggested that he try a lifestyle change first, since it was his first time getting a high a1c level. Dr. Wu then told him that he would never be able to lose weight unless someone locked him in a room and fed him correctly...EXCUSE ME?! Totally unprofessional. I do not recommend him and we will be looking for a new doctor.

Dr Wu is single handedly the best physician I have ever been to - and that list is very long. From the office staff to the doctor himself, everyone is warm and welcoming and willing to work with you. We had issues with our insurance not giving us the card and they ran it with just the numbers, something no other place was willing to do. My boyfriend and I never wait more than ten minutes to be seen. Dr Wu asks questions and listens to the answers, replying in turn and asking more if needed. He pays attention to details other doctors miss and he sees the whole picture, not just one piece of it. And he will not stop until he has results - he truly cares about patients, not about getting their money. He will also work to save you money and give you cost effective advice everywhere he can. He is a wonderful man running a wonderful practice and I cannot believe how fortunate we are to have found him.

I've seen Dr. Wu for several years and he has a deep sense of concern for his patients. He carefully listens and thoroughly explains medical issues to you.

Just a word of thanks to Dr. Wu for going the extra mile in studying my past history and listening to me. I am 70 years old and have just found out through his efforts that I have an autoimmune thyroid condition. I have asked other doctors in the past about testing me as I have had these symptoms on and off all my life. But they would stop after a general blood test came back normal. He ordered tests that went beyond that and now I have a correct diagnosis for the first time. I read another review that was negative about him in prescribing a cleansing of colon. That too was absolutely correct in my case, as I have always had a digestive problem. As he explained to me about the cause and effect on my reflux/esophagus problem it all came together and I understand the whys and what to do. Normally, I would not give so much personal detail in a review, but he is the very first doctor in my years who had the initiative and knowledge and concern to go further than the expected "normal". I… will ever be grateful!

Second to None!!!

My hhusband and I saw Dr Wu for different problems. It was amazing that his answer to every problem is "intestinal" and does an xray to "prove it". I can read xrays enough to know the xray was normal, but to him it was a problem and he says to get "lactolose" stuff which is a laxative and that will solve all your problems. Would be funny if it wasn't true!! Dr Wu has no concept of how the human body functions. We will not return to see Dr Wu and not recommend him even to my enemies!

Took son and daughter in for yearly check up and I was charged double on my son. I ask the front desk personel and she didnt know why there was two office visits for the same day. On was 218 the other was 180. I'm trying to find another doctor to take my kids and myself to due over charging.
