Dr. Chante Simone Buntin, MD

Spent much of appointment time bad-mouthing others. Her staff turnover was extremely high, indicative off her ability to get along with people. Can be charming and pleasant on occasion, but temperamental (almost irrational), unwilling to listen and difficult on other days. Refused to allow a service dog on her premises (cancelled appointment) because of her stated allergies (even when owner would allow dog to be in another room), and refused to even look at a paragraph on ADA regulations the following month. Used “broken record” - repeating the same thing over and over- and refused to interact appropriately or respond to a question. Blaming patient (or staff) for problems, and unable to recognize her contribution to difficulties. Although I attempted to discuss the difficulties about our relationship and the discord re: service dog (I was willing not to bring the dog), she refused to talk to me, using the “broken record” technique, and blamed me for all the problems. The… interaction was so disturbing that I did, in fact, become dissatisfied, realizing she was incapable of working with me further. While I did receive adequate pain management treatment (albeit very slow), her interpersonal problems are so extreme that I cannot recommend her.

My experience with Dr, Buntin has been as an escort for one of her patients, Her approach to pain management is not appropriate and she does not appear to have the patients best interest in mind. She will disgrace and badmouth other professionals in the field and makes no effort to build trust with those professionals or those involved in helping the patient She is disrespectful and has no tact in her approach in treating patients, I find her hard to talk to, ask questions or to reach her by phone. She is more concerned about medicating people than treating the whole person, she appears not to care for anybody but herself disrespecting other medical professionals in front of patients can cause distrust for the patient and their relationship with their doctors or others involved in their daily care. I would not recommend this Dr. to any patient seeking health care.

Rude, uncaring, arrogant, are just a few words to describe Dr Buntin. I am in the process of talking to a lawyer about defamation of character. Dr Buntin should not be a pain management doctor, she has zero compassion, and lied in my hospital reports. Worst doctor I have ever crossed paths with.

Clear communicator.

This doctor should not be allowed to see patients. She is uncaring and rude.

She has attitude problems.

Dr. Buntin does not know what she is doing vis-a-vis her pain management practice. Dr. Buntin has no real understanding of how to treat chronic pain. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Buntin. Dr. Buntin does not even know protocol for the local hospital. So, she promised me one thing, but the result was something else. Furthermore, the fact that her pain management practice is very much part-time makes it difficult to see her for an appointment or speak with her by phone. I strongly recommend that you find a different doctor for pain management.

Dr. Buntin is the most unprofessional, uncaring person I've experienced including being completely lame....seriously would like to know what drugs she's on. I caution anyone who is thinking of actually seeing her. Bring your sleeping bag and your checkbook, you'll be there awhile

The care and concern was exceptional.I would recommend this physician as the best care giver ever. Her professionalism was constant and her concern for my health and recovery evident as I made a consistent course back to a healthy life.Thank you sooo much.
