Dr. Charles Bixner Boag III, MD

Dr. Boag is knowledgable and honest. He is compassionate, but not coddling. Direct and clear, but not cold. He has ZERO problems answering questions from patients or partners and then he checks to make sure you understand his answers. Doesn't make you feel judged, pressured, or stupid. Personable, genuine and competent doctor. He takes his time to try and figure out why something is happening. My other two OB's were great, but sometimes I felt like any issues outside of pregnancy were not addressed or considered valid. Wish I could have had my babies under Dr. Boag's care!

I have been suffering from over 15 months with varied menstrual issues. Dr. Boag worked on my surgery for more than 3 hours and did Laprscopy which could have been easily Abdominal Hysterectomy. Dr. Boag is very compassionate and understands what is the best treatment rather than prescribing the cookie-cutter procedure. I can't thank Dr. Boag enough and I am so grateful for all his services. I am feeling great now!

I decided on Dr. Boag based upon the positive reviews, but I wasn't impressed. The initial appt. was adequate but his ability to read the room or ensure a sense of modesty and comfort was lost on him. The second visit ( follow up) was worse, he appeared tired, annoyed and wasn't in the mood for questions or pushback on his diagnosis. I have no doubt he is a good doctor, but if you have menopause related concerns, you may want to look elsewhere.

I had an appointment this morning, staff was very welcoming , and doctor Boag is a god send , he listens carefully and understands treated me with respect and knows exactly how to treat my condition, I will be forever his patient , ever since I moved to AZ two years ago I have been looking for a gbyn , I have been to several doctors and never went back , I'm so happy and relieved that I have met him because he Takes the time to analyze his patients and order proper tests when needed ,I highly recommend DR.Boag.

Dr Boag has the most thoughtful bedside manner. He really listens to my concerns and answered all of my questions patiently and thoughtfully. Dr. Boag spent time explaining the surgery I need and was very comforting. It was a great first visit and the staff was also very helpful.

Dr. Boag is by far the best doctor that I have ever seen. After having 3 miscarriages and having him alongside my husband and I with each one has been such a blessing. We are expecting our first next week and I will be devastated if he is not on call when I go into labor! :) Extremely knowledgable, completely unarrogant, amazing bedside manner, and truly takes all the time you need at each appointment. He has a way about him that can really set your mind at ease and make you feel comfortable even in the most uncomfortable of situations. Have recommended to several people!

Love love love Dr. Boag!! Very personable, I recommend him to all pf my friends, he's awesome! Through both of my pregnancies he's put my worries at ease, and follows through. There are not enough kind words to say about him. I've seen my fair share of Drs so I know a good one when I see one, I plan on keeping him as my gyno forever :) sorry dr boag but your stuck with me! Lol

Dr. Boag was the kindest, sweetest most caring Dr. I had throughout my high risk pregnancy with my twins. He came highly recommended to me from a friend & I would be more than happy to highly recommend him to anyone!
