Dr. Charles C Cheng, MD

Dr Cheng is obviously very skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to surgery. He meets with his patients before and after their procedure. His pre procedure explanations of what was going to occur, what outcomes are expected and what complications could arise are straightforward... a true professional. He is easy to understand, although some people may believe he is a professional with little to say, that is not the case, he just gets right to the facts without unnecessary words or communications. After all, you are not trying to make a new friend, you are trying to have an important procedure completed efficiently and without complications. Your health and wellbeing are in Dr Cheng's hands, and his confidence makes you feel good about selecting him as your surgeon. Post surgery, he explained what was accomplished in the procedure, what was observed and were the desired outcomes met. He is great at explaining complex procedures in a way ordinary, non medical people, can… understand. I am fortunate to have this highly skilled Surgeon working on my behalf.

Dr. Cheng I found to be very straight forward but has a very good bed side manner. He is very knowledgeable about his fields and I look forward to him doing surgery on me.

My wife and I have both been treated by Dr Cheng. On top of being a superb surgeon, he’s incredibly smart, caring, communicative and compassionate. We also have a niece that is a surgical nurse that has worked beside him for years that privately raves about his intellect, skill and approach in caring for his patients. We are blessed to have someone of his caliber as part of the health care system in our community.

We were referred to Charles by Dana Wall. We were able to have zoom call same day. He was very informative and our family much appreciated his suggestions.

Dr Cheng ‘s staff is fantastic and so friendly everyone meets you with a smile and they help in anyway possible to answer your questions and schedule any appointments or surgery that would accommodate you. I’m having another surgery soon performed by Dr. Cheng and at all my my check ups I’ve had before to get ready for this surgery the doctors all asked who is performing the surgery and I would state Dr. Cheng and they all told me I’m in great hands and everything will be alright which I already knew, this would be his second time performing the same surgery in a different area and the first one was a success, and my recovery was quick due to Dr. Cheng’s surgical skills. Thanks Doc …….you rock.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Almost no wait time at all. Prompt. He explained my condition clearly and in a way that I could understand. I told my wife I appreciated his explanation and ability to set my mind and anxiety at ease. He does not sugar coat it and tells it like it is. Tomorrow he does my surgery and I feel like I am in good hands. Very professional.

Dr. Cheng is very professional and answered all of my questions. He definitely is knowledgeable and this is evident in his conversation. We waited about 25 - 30 minutes to see him. His nurse was nice and offered us each a bottle of water. If you are looking for warm and fuzzy Dr. Cheng may not be your first choice but he is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Cheng was very informative. He knew I had a lot of questions and he answered them all. Surgery is upcoming and I feel confident that he's going to do a good job.

I felt a bit uncomfortable with him, his attitude was not very friendly, but the appointment moved along with many questions and he explained everything to me as far as my options.

Dr. Cheng seemed very thorough in his questions about my tumor and took several notes. He explained quite adequately what to expect on the day of surgery. My anxiety level eased a little after speaking with him. He was pleasant, as was his nurse, Jenna, and he shook both my hand, and my husband's when greeting us.
