Dr. Hope is very personable. He did not get in a hurry during the appointment. He explained everything in detail of the procedure and recovery process. Answered questions and made me feel very comfortable.

Dr. hope always does his best to address the problem. He is an extremely competent surgeon and his staff are friendly and well trained.

I feel blessed to have found Optim Orthopedics and Optim Physical Therapy groups in Bluffton and Dr. Hope for my two full knee replacements using the MAACO robot. My first surgery in Savannah was a success and went very smoothly, recovery went very well last winter and I was able to return to my long daily walks and playing pickleball within 5 months. However, if given the choice between the Savannah surgery center, a shorter drive from Bluffton, and the Reidsville, GA physician owned hospital, I would recommend the Reidsville facility hands down! My surgery, pain management and recovery were accelerated with my second knee replacement this summer by having it done there! The overnight stay allowed their staff to drain my knee for 10 hours immediately following surgery while having my knee in a continuous motion machine simultaneously. These two procedures alone kept my subsequent swelling down drastically while improving my recovery this time at a faster rate. It also allowed my… husband to stay with me that first night and to rest knowing I was receiving such great care. Best decision ever!

Dr. Hope replaced both my knees about 1 year ago. They have made mobility so much. Dr. Hope is unrushed and answers all questions.
