Dr. Mahakian is very kind and patient, he has genuine consideration and is understanding about missed appointments.

This “doctor” mahakian was forced to sign papers in court stating he could and would not be able to be a psychiatrist again in the state of california as claims of sexual misconduct and gross negligence to his female patients were made and exposed. This all happened when he was 30-60 years old. A full grown man who takes advantage of weak people. It’s very sad and this guy is a true predator so please do your deep research on people. No a psychiatrist actually a psychopath who sexually abused women mentally and physically. Even his own stepdaughter. But we shouldn’t get into that. How is this guy not behind bars. How did he get his license in another state. How corrupt is the world just to compromise for money to participate in crimes against humanity.

Staff was unable to confirm which insurances the pratice takes! Further, had MUCH difficulty figuring out how to schedule an appointment. I anticipated these difficulties would just be the start of ongoing "back office/insurance/poor service problems, so I chose a different practice. Time to better train or hire new, I suppose.
