Dr. Charles Steven Plimpton, MD

Do not recommend! This office and doctor is very unprofessional. My sister is newly pregnant and he refused to see her today, cancelled her appointment 30mins before it was time, based off her previous meeting with another doctor. Since when is it a bad thing to meet with multiple doctors to find someone that you connect with, especially during moments such as pregnancy. You are trusting this person with your life, your health! You don’t just trust the first doctor you meet unless the vibe or connection is there! The doctor you choose to care for you and your child’s life during pregnancy is IMPORTANT! His reason was he doesn’t like “Dr. Shoppers”!!! What?? Let me add, my sister is a nurse, she wouldn’t do anything she’s not suppose to do. No one ever just see’s ANY doctor unless it’s an emergency situation. People find primary doctors and other specialists and usually stick with that one. You want someone that you can be comfortable with. The sad part is, Dr. Plimpton delivered our… little sister and we hoped to stay with someone familiar but after this, we will NEVER recommend him and I hope this review gets back to him because his policy or sense of what “Doctor Shopping” is, is ludicrous. Doctor shopping is usually a termed used when people abuse doctors to get what they need mainly pertains to prescriptions. How can you “abuse” a doctor or “use” a doctor during pregnancy??? This is NOT doctor shopping, NOT when you’re trying to find someone that you truly connect with and feel comfortable with during a time like this and plan on sticking with them not only for this birth but for all your future births too. Smh

I WOULD NOT CHANGE DR. PLIMPTON AT ALL IN THE WHOLE WORLD HE IS THE BEST

He is by far the best. His calming voice can ease any mothers fears. He always makes sure he answers all your questions and does not let you leave until they are answered. He delivered all 3 of my babies, first one I had at 16. I recommended him to a couple of my friends and he also delivered there babies. I can go on and on but you get the point

Dr. Plimpton is by far the best ob doctor I have been to!! I could write a whole page about all the things that he does and the expertise of his practice, I’ve referred ppl to him that totally agreed, he delivered my last 2 of 6 children and he’s been the best I’ve been to, 2 of my close friends were told they’d never be able to have s natural birth after a csection and he delivered their babies naturally no problems. Some women do have to have csections for one reason or another but this man will ALWAYS try the natural birth Avenue! I trust this doctor with my life, he definitely knows the anatomy of a woman’s body, his personality is awesome and the love and decoration he has for his patients is out of this world!!! Even though I’m done having children I still see him for my other woman things ! I HIGHLY recommend this doctor

So nice patient and answers everything

He is a Doctor that llores to his patients. He does so many things illegally. He even had a girl seeing his patients when she was never a nurse. He documents his accounts normally after patients deliver so if something probably goes wrong he can go back and document later something false. Worst doctor ever. He should retire, literally!!! His wife is even worse. Poor customer service and the worse. I wish them the worst. So sad but truth

He's a good doctor :) Laid back and very open to talking about a range of issues.

Dr. Plimton was such a blessing to my baby and I. He was caring, kind, and thorough. His staff was genuine, accommodating, and truly interested in my progress throughout the pregnancy. Dr. Plimton eased my concerns and took great care of me during the emergency C-section. After birth I received the same sincere care and attention with my follow up appointments. So blessed to have had such a knowledgeable Doctor!

His staff was rude during a phone call to make an appt when I was 7 months pregnant and after that his bedside manner dropped tremendously. When I was in labor with my son he came in the room when I was ready to push. Did not tell my husband he was going to start having me push and just had me start. My husband realized what was happening and ran to my side. Dr. Plimpton delivered my son and walked out. Never saw him again. I would never use him again and I am pregnant now. Wouldn't consider trying to go back.

Dr. Plimpton is a wonderful Ob/gyn. Never thought I would miss the Ob/Gyn's office. We do, my husband included. He and Dr. Plimpton had as great of relationship, as the Dr. and I did. LOVED that my husband never felt left out of anything.
