Dr seemed a bit cold and disconnected, actually every staff member I encountered did. Our family doc recommended we go to double check a tongue tie since she wasn't sure herself. Dr. Potter basically asked us why we were even there. Then they screwed up billing our insurance.

I needed my tonsils and adnoids taken out for a long time. Go figure when i decided to get this done my regular Dr stopped taking my insurance. So my point is i was reffered to Dr Potter. Jan of 2020 he took my Tonsils and Adnoids out. Felt bad bc i let it go so long that this surgery was a bad one for him. Sorry again Dr Potter if ur reading this. This man did a WONDERFUL job and i am so glad i had him to proform my surgery. ALLLL of my appt's i got in on time, ALL the workers were nice and friendly. My follow up appt w Crystal was wonderful to. Cared and gave me good tips and ideas and listen to all i had to say. All n All my recovery was better than all the horror stories online. I did everything in my power to follow ALLL instuctions that were given and that helped out in the long run for me. So Dr Potter and all you wonderful staff, stay positive and keep doing a wonderful job. Thanks Again Katrina

Went to see Dr, Potter and we had a long wait. Finally got in and he examined me but never did tell me what he thought might be wrong with my neck. He scheduled a cat scan and that was the last I heard. Two weeks later the hospital called the day before the test and said I was not approved so the test was cancelled. I called the insurance company and they said they never got the paper work. Called Dr Potter's office and the nurse said she had not gotten the file from him to apply to the insurance company. It had been 2 1/2 weeks since I had seen him and still no word. So I went to a different ENT.

You will consistently wait for 90 min. To see the doctor. Unacceptable.

Don't waste your time going to this office!

Went to see Dr. Potter in Lima OH for a consultation for sinus surgery. We waited 2 hours to see him. He told me I had a deviated septum and also had three tonsils that needed to be removed along with adenoids. He said all three things can be done at the same time. We discussed a return to work date, and after agreement on everything stated, we were in agreement. I went for my pre-op appointment a few weeks later. After waiting almost 2 hours again, Dr Potter informed me he couldn't do all three procedures at once. I informed him he agreed at our last appointment and even wrote the information down in a binder he gave me. he got a little upset at me and said he couldn't take my tonsils and adenoids out and fix my deviated septum at the same time because it would be too dangerous. I asked him why he agreed to do it on the first consultation! I told him fine I would go ahead with what he saying because I certainly didn't want to put myself at risk. When I called the office a week… before the surgery, the office staff informed me I was scheduled for a deviated septum, removal of tonsils and adenoids! I told the nurse Dr. Potter told me he wouldn't perform all 3 surgeries because of it being high risk. This So called Dr is a joke! Needless to say I canceled my surgery and want everyone to know what an awful Doctor this is.

I had a deviated septum surgery done with Dr. Potter back in Missouri about 4 years ago. After my surgery, he told me everything fell back in place and it was all fixed. I am not sure what he had done but after my cast was off within 2 weeks everything was the same and nothing was fixed. Since years have passed it has actually gotten worse to the point I can't breathe out of my left nostril and causing me to get less oxygen into my body. I would not recommend this doctor for this particular issue.

This guy likes to treat people like they are stupid. He knows than you, he knows more than your doctor, he knows more than geneticists. If you tell him about your diagnosed medical history, he just looks at you with condescension and explains over and over how you have no idea what you are talking about. Then he gets irritated when you don't respond with "of course, you are right, my doc is wrong about everything."
