Very disapointed

I called their Mt Pleasant office and lansing office neither knew the price of botox I need to call billing I was hung (i think accidentley) Was told i had to have two appts one for consult then another day for appt Who has time to waste making two appts. My sister goes to your office and loves her service but i wasnt having any luck getting answers or an appt. I even asked if I was talking to the office and not like an answering service

I highly do not recommend this man to help you at all with any problem you may have. Through experience he is forgetful, and inconsiderate to your needs. You will be better off looking elsewhere for any eye help you may need.

Dr Rice is an excellent surgeon and is well worth the wait to see him. He called my home after my eyelid surgery to make sure I was doing well. Its been a long time since a doctor has done that!

i think he is a good doctor and he spent enough time with me and was very informational nice doctor and i was on medicad

I brought my 2 year old daughter here after having been referred from the ER for an eyelid and tear duct injury. There were sweet as pie until they found out we had Medicaid. They told us she needed to have reconstruction ASAP before it healed and scheduled her for surgery in less than a week. 3 days before the surgery we got a call saying he changed his mind and wouldn't treat her. He referred us to what we were told was MSU. We got a call from U of M which is quite a bit further away and not until the day of her surgery. So we are a week in and just being scheduled for another consult. I called Dr Rice back to complain that this emergency is taking so long and his nurse BONNIE told me that he would only treat her if we paid cash. He was willing to bill for the consult but not the surgery which are both covered. NEVER GO HERE.
