Dr. Charles Brinson Shiver III, MD

I found him to be knowledgeable, honest, and reliable. He listens and gives his professional advice. We work together to come to a solution on whatever health issues that I may have. It's rare that you can find a doctor that takes the time to listen.

Both my husband and I will be finding a new primary care physician due to this doctor's lack total lack of care and compassion towards his patients and their past history. If he can't give you a pill for it, then it doesn't matter to him. He is rather rude and has no bedside manner when it comes to communicating significant blood work or scan results.

I was searching for a new physician because my doctor retired. I entered the office and stood in front of the window for someone to acknowledge or speak to me. There were 3 people in the office. One of the three was a young girl. She glanced at me and looked toward the other women who were in the room. One of the women walked passed me. She did not offer to assist. After a minute or two, I decided that this office was not for me. Could it be that I was an African American female that I was not acknowledge? Thankfully, I found a wonderful office staff at Dr. Martinez office and I am very happy with my new doctor.
