Great guy and always on time. I had an appointment at 8:00 AM last week and got there 20 minutes early. After signing in doing paperwork I was walking out at 8:27 AM. He doesn't try to sell you a bunch junk you don't need. He takes care of business and you are on your way. He is very busy and can be hard to get an appointment.

Do not go to this doctor. He is not thorough. When I visited, he misdiagnosed me and prescribed me a super potent medication that I unfortunately still have side effects from to this day. It is unfortunate because it was totally avoidable. He did not listen to my concerns and rushed me out of the office as soon as possible. He also did a poor job doing a biopsy on me another time, and didn't even warn me before he took a knife to my skin, with no anesthetic whatsoever. As a medical provider myself, I recommend you do not go to this provider. You deserve someone who listens to your concerns and has your best interests in mind.

Misdiagnosed my husband's basal cell carcinoma as a cyst and dismissed his melanoma - run!

This doctor finally diagnosed me correctly. Every doctor I went to told me I had eczema. I went to see Dr. Van meter and it was only dry skin he gave me medication to excel the healing and itâ??s gone. Maybe everyone has a bad day but he was very nice to me and took care of my problem.

I have been seeing Dr. Van Meter for over 25 years. He has done a great job in treating any issues that I have had. He is straight shooter and is about solving the problem. My husband is active duty military, so we have lived all over, but I always "come home" to Dr. Van Meter when I have a dermatology issue. I now have my children seeing him as well.

Both my father and myself both see Dr. VanMeter as our dermatologist. We like that he is a "no-nonsense" kind of guy who goes in and takes care of a problem. Although some people may not be used to this approach, this is exactly what we like the most about him.

talked so low I could hardly hear him, rushed and no bedside manner whatsoever. I felt like it was a burden to have me in his office.
