Dr. Charles Brantley West, MD

After visiting Dr. West twice (years apart), he failed to give the proper diagnosis for my problem. I had been experiencing discomfort in my throat/neck on the right side for years, and the right side of my neck had always been slightly swollen, he had ran some tests but had attributed everything to allergies and recommended that I see a specialist. A few years later, I saw another ENT in Greensboro who found out that I actually had Parotitis (a salivary gland infection), which in my case, caused my submandibular gland to be swollen. I would not recommend this doctor due to this misdiagnosis, and also due to the lack of attention he gave to my symptoms (we only spoke of my symptoms for a minute or two before he stopped the conversation entirely).

Had a great experience there with my 5 year old son. Listened to him as well as me, took his time, very nice. Son had to have tubes put in and adenoids removed and Dr. West was great with him and answering our questions. Very good experience for a nervous mom and young child.

Worst bed side manner ever. had test done and had to force the Doctor to see me after 8 days of waiting for my results. I will never recomend this dr to anyone in need
