Dr. Charles Thomas Wolohon, MD

I would not recommend this office based on the front desk associate (Kristen). She has no people skills and is very rude to patients. Remember you never know what people are dealing with or going through. So in this line of work you need to have some compassion for the patients.

He detected a heart issue early and prevented a heart attack with tests and Dr. Wolohon connected me with a superb cardiologist. Same positive experience when I had kidney stones. He is very knowledgeable, caring and his staff is comforting, professional and very helpful. I depend on him for vaccinations and general medical needs. I highly recommend Dr. Wolohon!

I've gone to Dr. Wolohon for years, and I've always been impressed by his professionalism. He's a patient, matter of fact, no-drama physician. His office staffers are always helpful.

Follow up, spending time with patient and giving an accurate diagnosis are all dependent on getting through a poor frontline staff that consists of primarily two employees, that make decisions that the doctor should be making regarding patient Healthcare. That prevents Dr. Wolohon from doing what he is qualified to do, which is why we wanted to come to this office to start with. Unfriendly, indifferent, and presumptious decision making by the staff give ample reason to avoid using this office for care. Sadly, Dr. Wolohon is a capable doctor who actually seems to do a good job, yet if you can't get his help without first answering to what his assistant decides is best, then it really isn't him you are being treated by overall. Same experience with several friends as well. Not returning to this office again and moving to another physician who cares about his staff's interaction with patients and the critical point that patients need to communicate with their doctor NOT another… shotcaller who is not qualified to be a doctor.

Dr. Wolohon is an excellent physician, but his nurse Lynn is absolutely horrible. If she doesn't like her job, then she needs to find a new career. She comes in the morning and doesn't speak to the patients in the waiting room. She never smiles or have anything positive to say. She appears to hate her job and her surroundings. I am thinking about finding a new internal medicine doctor because of his nurse's attitude. When you are sick, you need someone who is compassionate, loving and caring. If you are not extremely ill when you go into the office, I guarantee you that when you leave his office you'll become deathly ill after being around his nurse Lynn. Dr. Wolohon you need a better compassionate staff! If Lynn continues to be your nurse, you will lose patients.

Impressed with Dr. and entire staff.

The dr. is pleasant most of the time but is very critical of any other doctor you see whether a specialist or otherwise. The nurse is excellent. She is compassionate, friendly, and efficient. The bookkeeper s a ditz. The receptionist is rude and condescending.

His staff was incredibly rude. The receptionist acted like it would be painful to smile. The nurse was so silent that it felt uncomfortable. I tried to make conversation but she wasn't having it. Dr. Wolohon is a nice guy and has great bedside manner. He didn't check my vitals, breathing, or heart like most doctors. I will not return to this doctors office due to Dr. Wolohon's rude and sad looking staff. A doctor's office is uncomfortable enough for most, not to mention when the receptionist and nurse act like someone just died
