Chetan Bettegowda is the director of the Johns Hopkins Department of Neurosurgery. Dr. Bettegowda is an exceptional surgeon. He is also very calm and humble. I could tell that he really cares. He took the time to explain my surgery and all its risks. I had a very successful hardware removal with synthetic bone.

I suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia. It is accurately referred to as the most pain known to man. My good fortune started when I found Dr Bettegowda. I was quickly given an appointment to see him and in a week and a half was in surgery. I cant imagine having brain surgery, coming out relieved of my TN and back to work in 2 weeks!! Yes 2 weeks after brain surgery and im back to work pain free!!! Dr Bettegowda and his staff exceeded my expectations and gave me my life back. I cannot thank him enough

An exceptional doctor who is willing to take the time to fully answer your questions. Considering the type of surgery he does, there are lots of questions.

Met with Dr. B. and he was an excellent physician. Took the time to hear my issues and explain what was possible and what was not. Great manner, and I felt almost like I was one of his students. Takes the time to make you feel comfortablee

Dr Bettegowda is always a pleasure to see. He always has a smile on his face and saved my husband's life. His PA Christie is awesome as well. I highly recommend him
