Dr. Chetan Shawn Irwin, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Irwin. He is knowledgeable, friendly & personable, and explains things really well. I was particularly impressed today, when I was scheduled for a surgery on my wrist. I met with him a month ago & we determined surgery was necessary. However, oddly in the intervening month before surgery, my condition improved quite a lot. I didn't think to make Dr. Irwin aware of this until I was there at my surgery appt. The table was prepped, Dr. Irwin in his scrubs & cap, and the nurses ready. And yet when I expressed that my wrist was feeling better than it had been (though still not perfect), Dr. Irwin stopped everything. He reassessed my wrist, and determined it was best to put off the surgery & wait to see what happens. I was so appreciative that he cared more about putting me through a surgery that may not be necessary than he cared about the fact that everything was in place & his staff ready to go, not to mention the money he lost. He truly cares for his patients!
