Dr. Stuart Charles Marshall

I would highly recommend Dr. Marshall. He was really kind and caring. He got me in the same day to draw fluid from my knee. I really appreciate him going the extra mile for me.

I consulted with another well-regarded orthopedic surgeon in Salt Lake and wanted a second opinion so I scheduled with Dr. Marshall. Not only was he exceptional in his bedside manner but he thoroughly explained his diagnosis of the problems I was having with my shoulder. The experience alone was completely different than what I'd had with the other surgeon. He spent an hour with me explaining everything and answering every question I had. I had not brought my MRI results (because the other surgeon had told me it wasn't helpful) and he arranged for me to pick up another copy of it and bring it right back so he could look at it, again spending another 30 minutes looking at it and explaining to me what it showed. He outlined and diagrammed my treatment options thoroughly on paper which he gave to me to consider. I am returning for treatment now and will be using him as my primary orthopedic doctor. I can't say enough how positive my experience was with Dr. Marshall!

My experience with Dr Marshall has been excellent for the care, treatment, surgery and post-op follow up for my left knee replacement! He has been attentive and heard my concerns and addressed them. I’m currently preparing for an upcoming surgery with Dr Marshall to replace my right knee, and I have total confidence in him and his care!

Dr. Marshall has replaced my right and left knees. His expertise, knowledge and staff have FAR exceeded my expectations!

My MRI report says class 3-4 chondromalacia of the PF knee joint. I believe class 4 is bone on bone. Dr. Marshall spent approximately 10 minutes with me and told me I need to get another 10 years out of my knee (i.e. stop being a wimp). He said 10% of TKA patients want their anatomic knee back. Doesn't that mean 90% prefer their artificial knee? What about a PFA? How about ACI, OAT, OCA or microfracture/bone marrow stimulation? He could have explained other options and why they aren't good options. I have to give him an A for honesty (a surgeon told me not to have surgery) and I realize medical science has limits, but I left his office with no new knowledge, options, or hope. I felt like I had to extract information and my efforts weren’t very successful. This cost me $200 (luckily I have insurance or it would have been more). I suspect Dr. Marshall was having a lousy day. We all have those, but nevertheless, I am disappointed. It appears my only option is pain and the… resulting decline of my fitness and mental and physical well being.

Dr. Marshall has many great qualities beginning with listening and taking his time. He is thorough and never seems rushed which instills confidence!

I have had both my knees replaced by Dr Marshall. I think he is the Greatest!! I was as good as new in 2 months, walking totally normal! He is great to talk to, to explain what needs to be done and how he will do it! He follows up till all is well. I think he is the greatest

Dr. Marshall did a total hip replacement in February 2017. Since then I have had no issues- Scott is phenomenal- these men are truly amazing. I could and would not ever see anyone else. This dream team will be performing a total knee replacement for me soon which I have put off for several years but when you know your in the hands of the best you don't wait any longer. Also I want to say Kasey their M.A. is a god send. She goes above and beyond her duties. She is amazing. She was on top of the paperwork for my insurance and employer. She is undoubtedly the reason for my quick recovery. She made it possible to focus on healing and not worrying about papers that needed submitted. I can not say enough about these excellent providers!

Dr Marshall did a hip replacement for my daughter she is now happier than ever, I have visited Dr Marshall and he will be doing rotator and bicep surgery he was very professional when describing the procedure and time period of full recovery.

I have taken the whole family to see him from shoulders to knees to wrists. Easy to talk to and get answers from.
