Dr. Christa Anne Colvin, MD

Like the reviewer before me, I had a horrid experience with Dr. Colvin. I was referred to her due to endemetriosis, but luckily, I found another OB-GYN and did not let her do the surgery. She is an unbelievably cold, sarcastic and arrogant woman who was heartless about my pain and my concerns. She was most unprofessional and yelled at me, as well. She behaves as if she is doing you a favor, as if she knows everything and you know nothing about your own body and experience, and as if you are wasting her time. If you are just a "yes man" and do what she wants to you do and respond as she wants you to respond, no problem. But if you're an informed, intelligent woman who actually has feelings, questions and wishes to be treated with care and respect, woe be to you. I completely believe that she WAS punishing the other reviewer; I saw a cruel streak in her, as well. This happened to me eight years ago, but also like the other reviewer, I will never forget this appalling woman and my… time with her, and I would like other women to be forewarned. A colleague of mine told me about a dreadful experience that her mother had with Dr. Colvin as well, which didn't surprise me. BTW, her colleague (I believe her name was Dr. Audrey Pauly) was even worse -- I had to deal with her once when Dr. Colvin was unavailable.
