First time with her. Liked her immediately Felt at ease to be honest and accept her decisions and taking her advice.

She walked in that room with an agenda and was far more interested in what she wanted to tell me than in learning about how my condition affects me and how my current med regimen is working for me. She never asked me how I was doing. She never asked me how effective the medication was and if I was having any issues with it. Her opening question when she walked in the room was, "So you see him for your high cholesterol and ADHD?" I informed her that he was my physician, and I saw him to manage my health in full. Then she informed me that she "does things differently," and then she asked what my "exit strategy" was for my current medication. When I pushed back and said that I had real concerns about changing my mud regimen because a changing functionality severely impacts my mental health, the conversation went downhill from there. When I pressed for more explanation as to the risks of this medication, What she told me was not supported by the medical journal articles that I looked up… after my visit. Her concerns didn't seem to match the profiles of risk in the literature. I don't think she was trying to scare me for no reason, and I'm sure she does have legitimate concerns, but she was obviously uncomfortable with the class of drug and the subject matter. Her bedside manner was wildly out of tune for a conversation with a new patient seeking support with a drug that affects mental health. She mentioned that the current state of corporate medicine was not why she got into medicine, But I have a feeling that administering psychiatric drugs was not what she signed up for either. The way that whole conversation went tells me that she probably did a six week rotation and she was 25 and never wanted to see it again. She spoke more about my heart than she did about my head, And while I do agree that, yes, as organs go, the heart is right up there, but she blew right past several key opportunities to connect with me as a patient. And that right there is a barrier to care. If I weren't more dogged about taking care of my own health, I might have walked out that door ashamed and demoralized never to return or seek help elsewhere, and with potentially disastrous results. She wanted to refer me to a psychiatrist, but when I expressed concern about the cost, that fell on deaf ears. She never asked me if I had a stable income or how I would pay for the extra monitoring she requires, much less specialist co-pays. In fact, she even mentioned that s Her concern about being sued by my family over a potential outcome was more important than my personal agency and preferences for quality of life. If she hadn't been a woman, I would've sworn I was in a Time Machine and talking to a bullheaded male doctor from the 70s. It was like I was pleading a case in court. In the end, I'm relieved that she helps to send people to a specialist. She's clearly out of her depth here. If she had really been concerned about me as a whole patient, that entire visit would've gone differently. Her attitude and representations were misplaced and Itresponsible, and from what I can tell, not entirely accurate.

Dr. Earnest is a thorough physician with a wonderful bedside manner! I feel so comfortable with her!

I would recommend Dr. Christi Earnest without Any doubts to anyone needing a doctor & hope she is in practice for the rest of my life!

Again, I'm sorry, but having to wait so long every single time does not make this provider worth it. For my physical all she did was listen to my breathing and check my ears, and she didn't tell me anything about what she was hearing or seeing.

I am in much better health due to her expertise and willingness to help me get the tests and any treatment I may need.
