Extremely fantastic

Operated on my knee for a torn meniscus. After surgery and much pain another surgeon and mri reports confirmed that I never had a torn meniscus. In pain every day. He has ruined my life.

he was going to send me to P.T. and never did; even though i called his office two times to request it. Result was my left arm, the ulna bone healed fx deformity and foreshortening, going to get another eval from different doctor

7-yrs post ACL replacement and Quad tendon repair without complications...improved stability and strength. Dr. Bentley did a stellar job in procedure, recovery was remarkable painless and quick. If needed, I would allow him to work on my knees again.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband. My husband, is a 55 year old man, had been living in pain for years, with knee problems. We had no idea how serious the knee troubles were. We had no insurance so we never really pursued it, until recently, thanks to Obama Care, great insurance, and finding Dr. Bentley. He has lived in severe pain every day while still going to work full time, and pushing thru it! He works in the construction field so it wasn't easy. After looking for a surgeon that our insurance would cover, we came across Dr. Bentley. His reviews were terrible, but we decided to meet with him anyways. Its usually negative people that leave bad reviews, right? So our first appointment, he walks in and shakes both our hands. We were so impressed by his knowledge and willingness to explain everything to us. We didn't feel rushed at all. He even showed us hubby's images (MRI) on his laptop and explained why he's had so much pain. We found out that day that he has had… a tore ligament (for years) that has caused more damaged to his arthritic knee, so he would probably be needing a hinge type knee replacement. We asked him many questions about his experience with this type of surgery and he willingly answered all of them and made us feel very confident. One month later Dr. Bentley performs surgery. It took a little longer than expected and I was starting to get worried, but Dr. Bentley said he was able to repair the ligament and put in a regular knee replacement. This meant having to wear a brace for 6 weeks to prevent damage to the ligament, but we were happy he was able to fix it. My husband is PAIN FREE now because of Dr. Bentley's experience! We cannot thank him enough!!! And can I just say this....People who are complaining about Dr. Bentley, please take a minute to examine YOUR actions. Were you willing to go thru the severe pain of Physical Therapy after your surgery? Its just as much your responsibility to gain your mobility back as it was his to correct your ailment. In fact he only starts the process, you have to finish it!!! Physical Therapy isn't fun. When they tell you "its going to hurt", they mean it! I've never seen my hubby cry so much, but in the long run, it was worth it! He has "almost" full use of his brand new knee. Hes back to work, wearing a smaller knee brace to still protect that repaired ligament (for a little while longer), but NO PAIN! I have my hubby back! THANK YOU SO MUCH Dr. Bentley!!!

This practice is small & private, but they are attentive to patient needs. I was able to make an appt quickly and the doctor spent time with me. He really listened to what was wrong with me, took his white board and drew out what my shoulder anatomy looked like, actually looked at the MRI with me and carefully explained my options. A HUGE difference from the other ortho docs I have been to in the past. Dr Bentley is experienced and compassionate.

I HAVE HAD A TORN MENISCUS FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND WAITED A LONG TIME TO GET IT SURGICALLY REPAIRED. DR BENTLEY DID MY SURGERY 4 WEEKS AGO, AND I AM FEELING GREAT. MY PHYSICAL THERAPIST SAYS I AM 2-3 WEEKS AHEAD OF WHERE PATIENTS USUALLY ARE IN THEIR REHAB, AND WE BOTH GIVE A LOT OF CREDIT TO MY SURGEON. HE HAD ME MOVING MY LEG THE FIRST DAY AND IS A BELIEVER IN "MOTION IS LOTION". IT WAS HARD FOR ME AT FIRST, BUT I DID ALL THE EXERCISES THE DOCTOR ASKED ME TO. I AM SO HAPPY I CAME TO SEE DR BENTLEY! HIS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE ARE OBVIOUS, ESPECIALLY HIS APPROACH TO POSTOPERATIVE CARE. THAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT TO AN "ACTIVE OLDER ADULT" LIKE MYSELF. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING CLEARLY AND WITHOUT CONDESCENSION UNLIKE OTHER SURGEONS I'VE SEEN IN THE PAST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRIVATE PRACTICE TO ANYONE WHO LIKES TO BE TREATED LIKE A PERSON, NOT A NUMBER OR DOLLAR SIGN. HE AND HIS STAFF WILL GIVE YOU THE TIME YOU DESERVE. WHOEVER WROTE NEGATIVE COMMENTS IS PROBABLY AN UNHAPPY PERSON. THANKS… TO DR BENTLEY, I WILL BE SKIING IN 2 WEEKS-- PAIN FREE!

Had Dr. Christian Bentley perform a routine procedure on knee. The surgery was a complete failure. Not only did he botch the surgery but also scarred my nerve during the procedure, which causes constant pain. I have seen several other physicians as i am in pain 24x7. They say not much can be done about it. Another surgery will only scar it more! The other Orthopedists are scratching their heads over the MRI expressing disbelief over how off he was with the tunnel angles in my knee. I am still young, and it sucks that I will have to live through this pain rest of my life. I am trying to find some positive aspects to him. I don't think anyone with half decent surgical skills can be so way off. Its one thing if the original surgery fails, but it totally sucks that he introduced additional problems that are going to be chronic. When I walk, I compensate by leaning more towards my good leg and this is causing imbalance and my back and hip are hurting as well. My body is slowly… beginning to crumble. I know every doctor is going to have a certain rate of failure but I don't have any confidence in Dr. Christian Bentley anymore. I cant think of a single positive thing to say about him. Please do your research before you opt for surgery. I have learnt the hard way, the best way to find a good surgeon is by talking to Radiologists or a physical therapist as they see all the aftermath of the surgeries that go wrong. But its too late for me I guess! Your mileage may vary but please do your research before you commit to him or any other surgeon for that matter.

Dr. Bentley made an effort to listen to my complaints and discussed my options clearly. He even went over the MRI with me. I had the procedure, and, although the recovery was difficult, my shoulder is now much better.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Bentley. He took the time and was very careful in treating my daughters ankle pain. He ruled out everything and was very cautious in treating her. It's been 3 months and she is out of the boot and back into her active lifestyle because of his recommended treatment. I am grateful we followed his advice for treatment and avoided surgery. Awesome Doc!
