SAW SCHWARTZ FOR OVER 3 YRS. EVERY VISIT FOR MY SUPPRE-PUBIC CATH WAS A NIGHTMARE. I HAVE PROGRESSIVE M.S. HE IS NOTORIOUS FOR DEGRADING PATIENTS/NURSES, TOO.. HE TREATS YOU AS HIS INFERIOR. HE IS CONCEITED-EGOTISTICAL AND IS IN NEED OF COMPASSION/EMPATHY SKILLS WHEN DEALING WITH PATIENTS. FINALLY, I WISED UP AND FOUND A NEW UROLOGIST NOT ONLY WITH MEDICAL SKILLS/EDUCATION, BUT AN EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER.

I’ve gone to Dr Swartz for 2 years for chronic UTIs and still suffering with them. No change and have actually gotten worse. 2 to 3 days off antibiotics it begins to return. It often took me to get help with the pain and discomfort 3 to 5 days from Dr Swartz. I never felt he really understood my pain or my discomfort. He was VERY rough with a urine test obtained by a catheter and visual exam of bladder and urethra with a scope. My family couldn’t handle watching me suffer so much. I was becoming very depressed about my life with reaccuring UTIs. I had to get another doctor.

My husband ended up in a urologist office after severe pain. Dr Schwartz took the time to explain every aspect of enlarged prostate issues. He explained the medication and side effects at great length. He anticipated my anxiety. My parents and 3 brothers have all passed from Cancer. He was very reassuring in his belief that we had nothing to worry about. Let me know we would run the PSA test and be sure but he was pretty sure all was fine in that area. He was incredible kind and took his time with us. The nurse was friendly and knowledgeable. It in no way felt like most doctors offices where you are rushed in one door and out the next. Glad we decided to see Dr. Schwartz. I think my husband is in good hands.

After learning I had to have my kidney removed because of cancer, Dr. schwartz made a special trip to St. Mary's Hospital to see me. He explained the surgery to me and my wife. I was home in three days . That was about four yrs. ago . He is an outstanding urologist and surgeon.
