Dr. Christina Marie Cohen, PhD

The lady should not be testifying. She is not independent from whichever attorney or side is paying her bills. She does real harm and I think the judges know she is just a shill. She tried to not testify on one of her reports because it was so highly problematic. She lacks integrity as an expert witness. I thought she left town or stopped testifying. She does real harm to parental relations with her awful and fraudulent actions. Her reports contain erroneous and made up facts - its simply incredible.

Dr. Cohen was a breath of fresh air. I feel very lucky to have found her by chance since we moved to SWFL. She’s very knowledgeable in her area of expertise and provided sound guidance and reassurance for me as a parent as well as my child. We were able to do zoom which is so helpful. I noticed she had 1 star ratings on here, but I believe they are all by the same person. I give her 5 stars hands-down!!

She fabricated information and even contradicted herself within her same report, like she would write one thing in a paragraph, then check a box stating the exact opposite in order to conclude there was alienation occurring. She blamed me for being the victim of his attacks, flipping every narrative to say that I was dramatic for taking photos when he was having me watched, or when I was acting afraid when I was being threatened, or for contacting police when he was committing crimes against me. She was incredibly biased even in how she conducted her evaluation, requiring several collaterals for myself but only a couple for my ex, even allowing him to refuse to have her speak to one of his collaterals. She lied to law enforcement so he would never be charged with a felony that he was being investigated for (as evident in conflicting statements in her evaluation vs the police report). She made suggestions and then used it against me when I followed her recommendations. My collaterals… all told her that me ex was abusive, but she didn't write it anywhere in her report and suggested the kids spend more time with him and I stop answering their terrified phone calls. She asked very private embarrassing questions about my dating life even to my children's teenage babysitter.

The absolute worst phycologist in Fort Myers. Her reports are full of errors she cannot even get your family members names right. She will change you 4k to 5k to produce a total rubbish report on your family. The reports are based upon hearsey, which she uses as facts. You better be willing to lie and trash talk your ex or you will be run over by this rude lady. She is a disgrace to any professional. You have been warned.

Christina Hansen should not be called a doctor. Just because she passed the necessary exams does not make her skilled in this profession. There should be a license review of her work. Do not use this doctor she is incompetent, ruthless, and only wants your money. She will break your family apart as well as your bank account!!!!!

If you need therapy for your child I do not recommend Dr. Hansen. She is not a true therapist that is in it for your child. Dr. Hansen ended up making the children reporters in a parental alienation case, instead of fostering a relationship with the children and their father, which was what she was court ordered to do. A report came back from another therapist that did a parental evaluation on the family, it was found in this report that the children's mother had been alienating the father from his children for years. Having a copy of this report and speaking with the professional that did the report, and the therapist that had to back out of therapy because of the alienation taking place by the mother, Dr. Hansen still feeds into the alienating mother. Dr. Hansen agreed to have a therapy session with the child over the phone about dad not buying the headphones the child wanted. Not only did she not get permission for this therapy session from the father, she spoke to… the child while he was with his mother at her house, not even in her office. The father found out about this therapy session when Dr. Hansen sent an email asking for payment, and reported that the issue with the headphones was dealt with. How professional is that of Dr. Hansen knowing that this is a case dealing with parental alienation? Dr. Hansen did not get permission for the therapy session and it was not even in her office, but over the phone. There are many more accounts of the therapy sessions with these children where Dr. Hansen was not acting as a professional advocate for the children. So, ask yourself if you want a therapist who has your child's best interest in mind, you may NOT want to choose Dr. Hansen!

C. Cohen-Hansen was selected by my ex's lawyer to perform a court-ordered parental evaluation in our family custody case. Hansen's recommendation was played out in the court-room, under the oath. Her recommendation was utterly baseless with an unreasonable positive bias towards my ex, and her fabrications were horrendous against me. She hadn't even met my ex before making the recommendation! The courts had to order a new evaluation. What a waste of everybody's time and funds! I now have SOLE custody of my child with NO contact with the other party, NOT EVEN supervised - the situation was so bad, unfortunately! So, what do you make out of it? As someone has commented in other forums, quoting: "She is a forensic psychologist, ordered to do evaluations for parents who have lost custody of their children. Clearly the reviewers had issues and therefore are upset with how their cases turned out." I didn't lose my child, the very OPPOSITE, the other party who recommended C. Cohen-Hansen in… our case, and who Cohen-Hansen was supporting with her recommendation, LOST ALL the custody AND CONTACT! So much about the "forensic psychologist"! Please read the reviews and act accordingly! I do NOT RECOMMEND HER!

I'm just speechless, this person shouldn't serve the courts and families. She is a fraud and I'm working on reporting her to the Florida Bar. I have proof, and I believe others have it as well. Don't be afraid, you as a parent have rights, she can't bulldoze over everybody. She has to face the consequences she has caused. Just wait.

This doctor is very weak in her job skills. She does not care about her patients only about the money that she can make off of them. She demands exuberant amounts of money and you can't even check it for accuracy because she demands payment before she will issue her report for your review. Save yourself a lot of time, money and headaches. Stay away from this incompetent doctor.
