Dr. Christina Smith Herring, MD

Never got to even make an appointment. The receptionist has no customer service skills. Tried for 3 weeks to make an appointment, to no avail. The last time I spoke to the office I asked when I could get an appointment. I was brushed off and told “I will have to ask Dr. Herring.” She then hung up the phone and never called me back. That was days ago. I have insurance so that shouldn’t of been an issue. I was also very nice whenever I called, so that shouldn’t of been an issue either. I hope Dr. Herring reads this. I will call the office and leave a similar review on her voicemail. I bet the girl her name is Gabrielle deleted the message and Doctor Herring never gets it. I have since found another doctor. That was a worse experience! 3 weeks!!! I was promised satisfaction. I called almost every day and couldn’t get an appointment. No explanation!

I'm seen Dr Herring for a year now , and I just have to put it out there that I haven't met a doctor yet that make me feel so comfortable to talk to . It's like I'm talking to my best friend !!! She listens to your , and her experience shows with the aproch she taking to treat you . She is a great doctor and a very caring human being

I do not know anyone who takes the time to show so much respect for someone. Dr. Herring is clearly knowledgeable, caring and for the most part takes the time to do all that she can and then some. How many Doctors do you know that still do this? I am quite sure by reading the negative reviews that these people were looking for someone that they could control and Lie to. If you think about it people that are in real pain are there for the right reason but I would bet my last cent that the ones that do complain had their own agenda and they saw that Dr.Herring would not stand for it. For me who never trusted anyone can say for the past 11 years I never saw anything but consistency, sincerity and professionalism. And to those who find things to complain about and not look at themselves first and blame others, I bet they have a track record of never being satisfied with anything or anyone that is honest. My guess this isn't their first go around.

the nurse who works there is verbally abusivd to patients and gives them nonsensical health information on the phone that all depends on her mood that minute. She blurts things out that she could never possibly know without examining a patient or seeing their x Rays. she is overly nice to some patients on the phone and then utterly cruel to others and there is no method to Her madness. dr herring appears to think it is on to take two weeks to call a patient back. There is no emergency number listed on the machine nor does it instruct patients to go to the nearest emergency room if they are having a problem. They expect you to assume a call woul never be returned on a weekend. Dr herring has good clinical skills for the most part when you are in the office with her. however she claims ignorance to the nurses abuse of patients and I witnessed the nurse abuse a patient right in front of her. When I complained about the nurse dr herring acted as if I was the first one to ever complain… when I know for a fact that isn't true and when I said I was going to leave because of the nurse dr herring was cold as ice. the nurse is not a mentally stable person and appears to need intensive treatment and I have sympathy for that in spite of her intense rage. She appears I'll and not in control. My true disappointment is with dr herring who does not seem to be suffering from a psychotic depression yet continues to let this woman who is unwell abuse fragile people who need help

I have been trying to make a new patient appointment for weeks and have been calling and leaving messages with the secretary or leaving voice messages. I've been told that i would receive a call back in order to get an appointment. I do have insurance and can make a prompt apointment. I have called back a number of times and this person was recommended to me but i would not waste your time with her.

Dr. Herring is one of the most caring, understanding, and intelligent doctors I have ever been treated by. She is very easy to talk to and you never get that feeling that you are being rushed out the door so the next patient can be seen. I have been dealing with unbearable chronic pain since 1997 and for the first time since then I am able to sustain a somewhat normal quality life. I will never be "pain free," but I am comfortable to the point where I can enjoy being with and watching my little girl grow up. Dr. Herring's secretary, Karen, is very professional, caring, fastidious, and knows her job. My phone calls are always returned promptly and I never have an issue getting an appointment, even on short notice. Karen is also extremely courteous.

Refused to review med labs with me. Never returned my call. Secretary hung up on me. Try someone younger!

Dr. Herring is a true professional. Has a wonderful bedside manner and is completely down to earth. She listens to you and has helped me greatly thus far. I intend to continue seeing Dr. Herring for my care. I feel very comfortable with her and even more fortunate to have found her.
