Went to her for help with depression, asked for a psychologist and was refered to a MENTAL HOSPITAL ! I am so discouraged after finding out if i went to the facility where MY DOCTOR (whom i should have trust) told me to go to, could have kept me for 24hrs ! It is hard enough for someone to seek help for something like depression and to admit there is something not right. But to think i could have been admitted to a mental facility against my will is beyond words. I have children and a life and this "LITTLE MISTAKE" could have ruined someones life. Needless to say i have changed Drs.

Never get seen on time, anxiety crushes me for the hour wait.

Dr. Smarik has been my primary care physician since my discharge from a nursing home - approximately 4 months. Over the past decades I've had many primary care docs; she is among the best. Modern medicine limits the time a physician can spend with you - financial reasons - yet I never feel hurried. She listens, and acts. She is available when I need her; especially responsive to emails. I find her to be direct and honest; if this is not what you want in a physician; go somewhere else. Bonus: she dressed up as Wonder Woman for Halloween!

Had no interest in discussing what I was there for. Will not return.
