Dr. Christine Dunham Brown, MD

Dr Brown has done MOHs surgery 6 times on me for squamous cell on my arms and legs and twice for melanoma on my husbands nose. She is conscientious and detailed has done an excellent job on both of us. We have very little scarring as a result of her closures. I would highly recommend her as a MOHs surgeon. She is extremely competent.

I had Mohs surgery on my nose for a tiny spot of basal cell skin cancer followed by a skin graft. After the first surgery, I had to sit in a crowded waiting room for over an hour until the lab results were finished. This procedure was repeated a second time with another hour plus long wait back in the crowded waiting room. Next I had a skin graft. Every place there was a stitch around the skin graft left a bump on my nose because the stitches were pulled too tight. The skin is a lighter color and does not match the skin on my nose. This should have been explained BEFORE the surgery. Nothing was ever explained to me and I was not given any options on how to close the wound. I am extremely unhappy and the whole thing was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this clinic."

Dr. Brown definitely lives up to her reputation! She is the best around, and her staff has always went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I’ve seen the PA as well, and she is very knowledgeable and good at what she does. Its hard to find a doctor that you are comfortable with and trust. I’m so glad I found them.

I went to Dr Brown about three years ago for a skin check. She rushed and barely looked at me and I had to point out areas of concern. I asked to her to look at places on my head. She stood way back, barely looked and said it was nothing. Now I've had another take a look and was diagnosed with skin cancer. Thanks for not taking time to look more closely and treating what was probably pre cancerous areas.

Terrible rude not friendly

Dr. Brown is an exceptional dermatologist, she is very patient, very thorough and precise! Dr. Brown and her staff are truly exceptional in the way they handled my treatments. 4 Stars are well deserved ! With her over 25 years of experience in Mohs surgery I feel that I could not have been treated by anybody better than Dr. Brown. You'll see that what I'm saying is true and accurate. I wish you good health!

I was looking forward to seeing her because a friend recommend her. She had to be good with D Magazine "best doctor" plastered on every wall. None of that matters to me the proof is in the pudding... She was rude ..aloof ... No warmest at all. She seemed as if her face wld crack if she tried to smile. She had no problem offering me her products though. I would probably have delt with her unfriendliness because I know she knows her stuff BUT I got a bill in the mail. Confused by that I called and they said they were not in-network . When I called originally the very FIRST thing I asked was if they accepted cigna .. I would have never made the apt. I consulted the office manager about the situation. She never had the courtesy to call me back she sent be another invoice with a written explanation at the bottom ... In big letters she wrote we do not accept OBAMACARE!!!! Hmmmm

She seemed competent enough but not friendly at all.

I was really looking forward to this appt. but was very disappointed, visit was rushed, no time given by the dr to ask questions. now I have to find a new dr., pay another co-pay (im a student with little $) to get answers to questions that could've been addressed had she taken the time. Very inconsiderate!

I never write reviews as most people just complain. I honestly have never had a worse experience with a doctor. I waited for over and hour to see her. I paid over $100.00 for products. After just one weak of using them as directed my face started to peel, crack and eventually scare. I am still dealing with severe pain and have not been able to do my job as I work in outside sales and due to how awful my skin is I have not been able to meet with clients. I would avoid this place at ALL cost. I will NEVER GO BACK.
