Dr. Christine Marie Brass-Jones

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Brass for 14 years & she delivered all 3 of my babies. It’s always so good to see her when I need to come into the office for a visit. She has seen me in my most vulnerable state and I’ve seen her in her most boss mode as she delivered my babies. I respect her so much and trust her completely.

Dr. Brass-Jones was engaging, willing to listen to my concerns and offered advice as well as putting a plan in motion to address those concerns. I felt seen and heard.

I'd rather have my dog deliver my baby.

Beware! This physician is highly unprofessional with her demeaning tone and treatment of patients. She seems mentally unstable to me, quite frankly. She is the last person I want delivering my baby. I switched physicians after my second visit with her, when it become clear that this lady has no people skills and is highly reactive.

Dr.Brass means well but wasn’t for me. I laughed reading some of the other comments that were pretty blunt and just rude but kinda true. She was my OB for my first baby. I like to research things and I like clarifications and science-talk, but I always felt disregarded when it came to her answering my questions. I’d still have more to ask or say and she’d end the visit and walk right out the room after maybe 10 minutes (if that). She did a membrane swipe without asking me. That’s not okay! I bled and almost had a panic attack bleeding in there. The sweet nurse knocked on the door and told me where a pad was. I put on ten pounds in a week on the last month of pregnancy and they said, “We gotta watch this.” Nothing else, and I ended up with preeclampsia. It was a TERRIBLE LABOR experience that ended in a C-Section. I didn’t see her once until a day or two after the delivery, another Dr delivered my child bc she wasn’t on-call. Everything just felt so impersonal with her. Her nurses and… midwives are fantastic, humble, even funny people. But Dr.Brass, just not my favorite. I’m sorry. I wanted to like her, like the experience, but I just enjoyed everyone besides her. Even the ultrasound tech was great. They have an ultrasound and a lab right there. Oh and the lab lady....she had to have me come back another day bc she couldn’t get me I was so swollen. That sucked, but it is what it is. Not the best experience but I’m recovered and baby is doing great. Love my baby!! ????

The birth of my first child is such a negative memory for me, due to this doctor. Dr Brass was cold and unsupportive through my entire pregnancy, but being a first time mom I didn't really know any better. My extreme nausea (hg) was completely dismissed and I got no pointers on how to handle it. This pregnancy was one of the hardest times of my life due to the lack of information and support from my ob-gyn. My labor and childbirth was (so sadly to admit) a nightmare with this woman. She seemed disgusted by my long, stressful labor and completely annoyed with me the whole time. I remember practically having a yelling match with Dr Brass. I was at a loss of what to do, physically, after 24 hours of labor and just wanted some direction. She would not communicate with me, and I was was exhausted. I ended up delivering my 10lb baby vaginally with the help of a vacuum, and an epidural. Thank God my child and I are healthy and happy and we never have to see this woman again. The only… positive aspect of Dr Brass's office is that I was able to have prenatal massages there (not by her). But both my massage therapists ended up leaving the office over the course of my pregnancy. And frankly, you can have prenatal massages anywhere that offers massage. This office does not offer ultrasounds and blood work so you have to go to other locations for these, and wait until your next appt to have the results. I'm now pregnant with my second child and thrilled to be with MomDoc of Gilbert. All of the physicians and ultrasound techs are incredible, informative, attentive and actually human. I feel like I'm in great hands at every appt and can not stress enough how much different this experience is from Dr Brass. All ultrasounds and bloodwork are done in house, and you have results during the same appt. The atmosphere is world's better, more professional. I actually look forward to this childbirth. If you have a bad feeling with your doctor, switch! The last thing you want is for your labor and childbirth to be harder that it already, naturally is.

Dr. Christine Brass-Jones has to be one of the most unprofessional OBGYNs I have met. Her callous disregard for patients feelings is extremely appalling. Your staff is the only reason you have such good reviews, you should be ashamed of how you treat some of your patients. The facade of this place is quite convincing, unfortunately Dr. Christine Brass-Jones showed its true colors during this visit. A review in bedside manner couldn't hurt.

This office may be for you only if you fear sterile medical equipment and procedures. They also sell herbs and have tai chi classes, but the attempts at being a spa-like environment fail because the patients and a good deal of the staff as so trashy! I felt like I was in Wal Mart or the bus station. Her PA is very nice, a few staff members are good as well. But Dr. Brass was one of the rudest, most ignorant doctors I have ever known. She is not intelligent, but very ignorant and rude. I don't want to see her again or have her deliver my baby. She also has a laugh like a cartoon witch you can hear all over the office. The office has no ultrasound, so you need to pay hundreds to be sent elsewhere for your scans. The staff is pretty clueless about drawing blood. Maybe you'll like this office for being different. I sure did not, was overall offended and saddened! Maybe she's racist, perhaps why she acted so rude to me?

I was really excited to try this doctor out after so many negative experiences with obgyn doctors. I am an educated woman and researcher and was hoping for a doctor willing to work with me. I set up an appointment for an annual wellness check but also said I had a number of questions because I struggle with infertility and had a terrible experience with a different dr when I had my son. When I got there for the appointment it wasn't with dr. Brass-Jones but with her PA Mary Ann. Because of previous experiences I was disappointed to not get to actually meet who I was planning on being my dr. Mary Ann seemed nice enough but wasn't all that helpful with my questions/concerns and I didn't feel like she cared to really help me. Then when I asked about the exam apparently they only booked the appointment as a 'consult' and not a full exam like I had asked for. The PA made it obvious I wouldn't be getting an actual exam at all. I left the office somewhat discouraged and disappointed but… hopeful for something positive. She did suggest I try a holistic approach to the infertility which I was happy to try. So after paying a $60 copay for what I felt was not the most helpful or useful Q&A with a PA instead of the Dr. I paid $80 for two tinctures to hopefully help me get pregnant. Unfortunately it hasn't helped and I went through the awful taste twice a day for a long time for nothing. No one at the Drs office ever followed up with me. Then I get a $200 bill in the mail from them months later because they told my insurance I had PCOS (even though I told them I've never been diagnosed and it's only based on my own research of my symptoms that I even suggested that MIGHT be my issue with infertility but that's why I had come to them to begin with, to try and find out what's wrong and get help). So my insurance is saying it's pre-existing and True Harmony told me it's up to me to call my insurance and figure it all out. Well, that's just fine, I'll get it worked out eventually but I definitely am not happy with my experience with this Dr. or her office thus far. I'm really disappointed because I had high hopes that this office and dr would be different and what I was looking for in my health TEAM but I guess I was mistaken. Back to trenches to find a good dr that actually cares enough about their patients and works with them to help them in there health journey. Maybe she is that dr for some people, but I no longer think Dr. Brass-Jones is that Dr. for me, and that makes me very disappointed and sad. Some positives: they have a room with books and toys for your kid to play in and I think you can pay them a little to watch your kids during your visit but I had my mom with me, though the toys kept him easily entertained. Also they do at least try some more natural and holistic approaches though I'm not sure how effective their remedies are and they are limited on choices/options.

I have never been treated so poorly as I was with Dr. Brass. She doesn't care about her patients at all in my opinion. She won't explain anything, doesn't spend more than a minute with you, and LOVES to induce, despite billing herself as a natural birth doctor. She tried to push me to induce because she thought my baby was big(he was completely average, especially for my family, which I told her REPEATEDLY), then tried to induce me because she was going on vacation and of course when I went into labor during her vacation she performed a c-section on me. A week later my incision got infected and guess what....there was nobody to reach at her office. I had to call my GP to get a prescription for antibiotics. When I finally did get ahold of her office, nobody thought I should come in for a follow up. Needless to say, I will not go back and would never recommend her to anyone.
