I loved Dr. Canela. Very sad that she moved out of Virginia and I can no longer see her. She is extremely caring and compassionate.

She is so kind, thorough and helpful! She listens to all your concerns, answers every question and never makes you feel rushed.

Went to see her for hormone replacement therapy, and unlike a lot of other doctors, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Took her time in getting to know my complicated history. I'd definitely recommend her!

I absolutely adore her! It was my first visit to see her and she took the time to get to know me! asked me a bunch of questions and personally called me to follow up with my exam results just in case o had additional questions. Highly recommended.

Dr Canela always take the time to listen to all my doubts and worries, she takes the time to explain procedures, I never feel rushed through the appointment and ever examination I had with her I never felt uncomfortable. All important things for me when looking for an OB/GYN doctor.

I became a patient of Dr. Canela's when Dr. Gregory Hardee retired, whom I also adored! I can't say enough kind things about Dr. Canela. She's caring, compassionate and sincere. I have and would recommend Dr. Canela. Carilion is very lucky to have her on staff!

Excellent sums up Dr. Canela and her patient care. She is absolutely fantastic at listening, observing, asking the probing questions in a respectful way. Her bedside manner is the best I have ever witnessed and I would highly recommend her to family and friends. Carilion is fortunate to have her on their staff.
