Great provider , great bedside manners, great quality

Mi esposo y yo tenemos aproximadamente 8 años teniendo como medico primario al Dr. Borrego. En todo este tiempo, ya que somos personas de la tercera edad, hemos pasado por muchas situaciones de salud bastante criticas, mi esposo ha tenido cancer de vejiga, neumonia, colocacion de filtro en la vena cava inferior por formacion de coagulo, infeccion de los huesos y hemos recibido la mejor atencion que se pueda esperar de su medico primario. El DR. Borrego siempre ha tenido excelente ojo clinico para conducirnos a resolver todos estos problemas de salud que afortunadamente se han ido superando con su rapida atencion. Mi esposo ha tenido varias hospitalizaciones por sus diferentes problema y el Dr. Borrego ha ido cada dia de estas hospítalizaciones a controlar su evolucion....no puedo mas que darle las gracias infinitas y recomendarlo ampliamente ... seguimos bajo su cuidado.

Dr. Christopher Borrego is EXCEPTIONAL! He genuinely cares about his patients. He is patient, compassionate, direct, courteous, kind, thoughtful, informative and thorough. His whole staff reflects his excellent qualities and display great respect for him, as do I. In my opinion, Dr. Borrego possesses a rare and unique exceptional attitude of commitment to excellence in everything he says and does. He keeps me informed and always patiently provides thorough explanations. Unlike any other PCP-Internal Medicine doctor I have ever had, he thinks well outside the box. Recently, in looking over my medical history and issues, he referred me for a brain MRI and discovered what he surmised could potentially be the cause of many of the medical issues i have experienced for some time, now. He discovered what he thought he would; I have a benign pituitary tumor, which has high potential to be the cause of most of the illnesses I have been diagnosed with for the past ten to twelve years. He… informed me that it was still smaller that 1 cm, but he will be keeping an eye on it. If it approaches the 1 cm mark, he advised me that he could refer me for having the tumor removed through my nasal passage and also let me know the pituitary gland where the tumor is located is accessible for removal without touching any gray matter of my brain. This was a huge relief to find that the likely cause of the many medical issues I have been diagnosed with are most probably caused by this one issue, which, once removed, could alleviate many of the diagnosis's I have been given by various other doctors. Dr. Borrego is a "one -in-a-million" and I feel very blessed that I got him as my PCP. He is easily accessible through the patient medical portal I was provided and is quick to respond or get me scheduled to see him whenever I need to. He keeps me informed of all test results and relevant information through the patient portal. This alleviates the usual "three W's" associated with medical tests and information: "Wait, Wonder and Worry" issues tied to this. I trust him and his PA/assistant, Kelly D., completely and would recommend him to anyone, including my closest loved one, my spouse (she's also my best friend! :) ) of around 40 years. In closing, Dr. Borrego treats me and makes me feel like he cares as much about me as his patient as he does about his own personal family member. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to ANYONE!!!

My surgeon "forgot" to order diabetic checks after surgery. She discharged me and two days later, I was re-admitted by Dr. Carr with severe ketoacidosis, failing kidneys, and high heart enzymes. Dr. Borrego became my doctor at Northside and literally saved my life. After being discharged a second time, Dr. Borrego followed my progress until I was well. I can't thank him enough for saving my life.

An exceptionally compassionate Doctor who really listens to his patients.

Dr. Borrego is the best Doctor I had ever in my life. Very accurate diagnosis, friendly, humanitarian and excellent Doctor!!!

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone because he does not treat patients - he just pretends to be concerned about patient's condition as long as he needs to drain the patient's pocket. During the course of treatment, when the patient needs him most, he can suddenly disappear for vacation, however he will make sure that the patient is billed to the highest standard of billing. He will bill you even for a piece of paper - because he calls himself a consultant, thus his substandard services are very expensive. Beware of this medical provider's practice pattern!

I have been a patient of Dr B's since he started with this practice & I can't say I've ever once been disappointed in his diagnosis or in how much he shows he cares about me as his patient!! He has an excellent bedside manner!! I completely trust him & he is always willing to take as much time is needed with me to talk & answer any & all questions that I may have - and I've had several health situations come-up over the last few years to ask questions about!! He is an excellent doctor, who truly shows that he cares!!

This doctor is unknowlegeable and unreliable. He does not know how to treat patients, nor does he care about patients. All, he cares about, is his financial welfare, so in order to maintain his financial stability he just commutes between his family practice (located in one county) and two hospitals (located in two other counties), misrepresenting himself as a hospitalist and defrauding patients. Under his care your health will only deteriorate. Don't be fooled by him!

Dr. Borrego was my internal medicine doctor at the time I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although the hospital called him with my diagnosis, Dr. Borrego did not bother to contact me. After waiting all day, I finally contacted the hospital and was referred to Dr. Borreo for a referral to a breast surgeon and an oncologist. I was very disappointed that Dr. Borrego had not even taken the time to refer me to a specialist. He didn't even bother to call me with my diagnosis. He was very transactional and uncaring. No one deserves this kind of treatment in a life altering time such as this.
