Dr. Christopher L Bowlin, MD

Thanks to Dr. Christopher Bowlin for not only saving my leg, but very possibly my life. I was skeptical about going due to the experiences I had with 2 other podiatrist, which were not good, but definitely glad I did. He has been a godsend. I have always been treated with kindness and respect every time I walked in the door (and believe me, in the last year it has been a lot) from the front desk to Dr. Bowlin himself. I have and will continue to highly recommend him to everyone needing a great, caring podiatrist.

I'm terrible apologetic for your misunderstanding of this entire event. First and foremost I'm most interested in getting you better, as well as not harming you in surgery. It's simply beyond my control if the hospital anesthesia team runs labs and finds any lab values out of the normal, especially when it pertains to your Heart and we plan on putting you to sleep for the surgery. Regardless of what plane tickets were purchased, regardless of what we discussed, your Heart prevails when it comes to a "painful foot". I'm also terribly apologetic that it irritated your cardiologist that we asked for Cardiac Clearance. Regardless, it's a simple letter saying you would be safe and stable to proceed with surgery. This is about as normal in the medicine world as you breathing oxygen daily. I was present and did hear all interactions with the Cardiologist. He was frankly perturbed that we were asking for clearance. All in all, I appreciate the wonderful review. I had a very positive experience with Dr Bowlin’s PA. I have to say I had pleasant experiences when meeting him about my Achilles heel issue. But my interaction with Ali and the woman at the front desk were very non professional. Ali waited to the last minute to start my process for pre surgery admission, she expected me to get clearances from my cardiologist 48 hours before surgery and was rude to myself, my cardiologist and his Nurse Assistant. When I cancelled my surgery because her lack of professionalism and planning concerned me and needed my records for a second opinion the woman at the front desk felt she needed to give me a hard time. This included her saying she needed to check with Ali before releasing my records. Then not providing records because she said I didn’t get the name of the person who answered the phone when I requested my records. Meanwhile there’s only 2 of them answering phones. I had to make two trips to get all the records. They said they would call me when… my records were ready but never did. Totally ignorant people. And I feel Dr Bowlin surely is aware they are acting like this or they would not. I do blame him for this. I will never go back and will share my negative opinion EVERY CHANCE I GET

I am putting reviews on multiple websites so others can be warned. One of the worst human beings I have met in this world. I know people that went to school with this person and he literally doesn’t care about anyone. Very inflated ego. I’m not sure why because he is utterly horrible at his job. Karma will get him
