Dr Chalian is a knowledgeable talented orthopedic surgeon. He is kind, calm has a wonderful bedside manner. He is down to earth and has no ego trips. He explains procedure and end result is 100%.

I was referred to Dr Chalian through one of my students. I tore up my left knee a year ago in a motorcycle accident. It has been progressively getting worse. I finally broke down 2 weeks ago and tried to set an appointment. I was met with all kinds of red tape. My health insurance will cover the repairs on my left knee 100%. I know this for a fact because of the many dealings with my insurance company in regards to my accident. The scheduling department wanted me to provide my health insurance as well as my auto insurance. I informed the scheduling people that the auto insurance had no responsibility for this claim. They insisted on collecting the auto info prior to scheduling an appointment, even after I told them my pain level is an 8 every single day, it didn't matter. They still insisted on getting the auto insurance info. I went ahead and complied seeing as I wanted a Knee specialist. They called me back later that afternoon and told me that my auto insurance wanted them to submit… something in writing in order to get information on the claim. The auto claim was closed over a year ago. however, the health claim remains open. I incurred over $750,000.00 in medical bills. all paid by my health insurance within 3 days of billing. (awesome insurance). Wen they called back Whining about the fact that my auto insurance was not being cooperative, I said. "and how does that make you feel?" If they are this ignorant and narrow minded in the office what do you suppose is going to happen with the rest of your accounting, billing, medical records, recovery etc? I was really looking forward to having a specialist evaluate and fix my knee as I am a professional Martial artist, and my knees have been abused for nearly 30 years now. I still need to get at least 30 more years out of them. I will see Dr Husain This Friday. He is also an excellent Orthopedic surgeon. If you are reviewing Dr Chalian. I can Not comment either negatively or positively on him as a Doctor. I can only speak of his staff. I hope he is able to read this and make the necessary adjustments with his staff so he doesn't lose further business.

Great Doctor ! Really shows concern for patient. Have used Dr Chalian on several occasions and each time I have had excellent results. His bedside manner is fantastic.
