Dr. Christopher Ramsey Cox, MD

Dr. Cox is a good physician. He listens and clearly cares about his patients. We wish we could say the same about the clinic and the staff. It is quite difficult to reach someone by telephone. Almost invariably, the nurse does not return phone calls or does not return a call in a timely manner. When we have pointed this out, we receive excuses and defensiveness, not an apology. This is not new. In our latest (and still ongoing) episode, my wife returned to see Dr Cox two days after an initial appointment because her condition had worsened. This was on a Wednesday. To make a long story short, an MRI was to be ordered. For some reason, pre-authorization with the insurance company was not requested until Friday. It is now the following Wednesday and we are still waiting. I expected some follow-up after a week of her being seen. Among her symptoms was water behind her eardrum. This was to be addressed but was forgotten. A pharmacist helped. We like Dr Cox but the clinic, not… so much.

Seemed to not show any sincere concern about well being. Waited forever, only to be rushed through appointment. Tried to follow up with occurrence of dangerous side effects and wad practically shrugged off

He is wonderful and was always very good with my daughter and with me. He ALWAYS took time to listen to my questions and answer any of my concerns. We will miss him now thta we have moved to Mississippi!
