Ala comunidad hispana les ago un llamado de ver bien cuando este llamado "doctor" les valla a ayudar mejor salgan corriendo de ahí porque no es nada amable ni profesional trata muy mal alas mujeres Cuando están en labor de parto!

Very pushy of IUD

I saw dr dowdy as an er patient about 2.5 years ago. I was totally blown off and his staff threatened to call cps because a np misspelled my last name. If they had taken time to request a simple ultrasound they would have seen that my son was dealing with iugr, like my regular doctor did about a week later. That wouldve been another week of treatment that could have prevented my son from being in nicu, and having to have surgery at a month old, as well as the issues we continue to face on a daily basis. It would appear that if you arent a regular patient, you arent worth his attention.

Dr. Dowdy was great when I was 14 years old he diagnosed me with didelphys uteri! He explained everything and was very patient! He answered all questions with answers that I could understand! I live this man and I am very thankful for everything he has done for me

I went to Dr Dowdy due to a miscarriage Jan 2016. It was such a difficult time & he made me feel so comfortable. His receptionist and his nurse Marcella are the best. I went back to him for my second pregnancy and I don’t see myself ever changing doctors. I will recommend him to everyone I know.

This was my first pregnancy and C-section. The experience was amazing thanks to Dr. Dowdy and his staff, from the front office to his nurse! I highly recommend this doctor.

Every time I go to Dr. Dowdy's office for my annual well woman exam, I have to wait about 1.5 to 2 hours to be seen. The last two times I was the last one to leave the office at the end of the day, but I was not the last one to arrive. The walls are very thin, and I could hear him performing routine exams on people that entered the office before I did. I am obese, and I can't help but wonder if I get put off because I am so large.

Firstly, the receptionist was quite rude and unprofessional. Then while I was sitting in his office for a consultation, I heard the nurses talking, since the door was wide open I could hear everything they said plain as day. . . they were talking about my case, which is a totally Unprofessional thing to do. My file is between me and the dr. NOT the entire office!

I went dr dowdy when I moved to Beaumont. My first appointment he proceeded to talk to me about people I had met and his patients. I found this very unprofessional. A few months later I needed an appointment sched and a refill of my birth control called into the pharmacy. It took CVS and me calling for an entire week before I got a call back from the nurse on a Friday, telling me the office was closed so it would have to wait until Monday. I switched doctors immediately.
