His team doesn’t reply, call you back, or even address your concerns in message replies. Whenever I had an issue I would have to call / message several times to get through and they would often misunderstand what I was saying. The doctor himself will not reply to your messages if you write him. He stopped taking my insurance, the team didn’t communicate this to me, I went to book an appt couldnt do it and wrote him several my chart messages. Called the office several times and nobody ever contacted me back. After several months his team reached out trying to book my yearly, and I told them, I had been trying to contact them for several months and they were ignoring me. They told me no birth control could be filled until I booked a yearly, but I couldn’t book the yearly and they didn’t inform me they weren’t taking my insurance any longer. The doctor is of course busy and doesn’t have time to screen messages, but should be hiring a better team to manage this. My other doctors… don’t neglect patients like this.

Dr Christopher Eswar was a doctor with whom I had never met before my consult with him to discuss performing my robotic hysterectomy. This was a stressful time for me and having a whole new medical team exacerbated the situation. However, because of the extraordinary care I received from Dr. Eswar, my anxiety was reduced considerably from the first time I met him. He explained what would happen during surgery, as well as recuperation, was patient, personable, caring, and instilled great confidence in me. The surgery went very well, incisions could hardly be seen, and 3 post-op appointments were all very thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Eswar.

Dr. Eswar is terrific. He is smart, patient, kind, and a great doctor. My daughter was in severe pain and saw a few doctors who failed to correctly diagnose her problem. Dr. Eswar diagnosed her problem and managed to quickly squeeze her into his surgical schedule in order to correct her problem and ease her pain. He is top notch, and I highly recommend him.

Ive been coming to NYU for my OBGYN appointments over the last 10 years and the doctors are ok but Dr. Christopher Eswar definitely was the only doctor to make me feel as if i were his only patient. On all my visits he took his time to answer questions about surgery. Anytime I would leave a message on MyChart I would receive a call the next morning from him ready to answer all my questions. He performed a tubal ligation on me and I was really nervous. He met with me to ensure I was ok and ready. He has great hospitality and took the time to care. After surgery he checked on me and told me if I had concerns over the next few days I could reach out to him. I did have a few days after and he again reached out to me. Not to mention my scars are so minimal and as soon as i took pain meds I was out of pain for the remainder of my recovery. At my post surgery appointment he took his time and made sure all my scars were healing properly. Im definitely making him my permanent OBGYN doctor as… well. Thank you for your great service. Ive definitely told friends looking for great doctor to pay him a visit. Ive been looking for OBGYN for anfew years and finally feel very comfortable. Dr.Eswar is caring and sociable; he wants his patients to feel comfortable and informed and it shows! I absolutely recommend paying him a visit.

This doctor was below my expectations. I should have known given his medical degree from one of the “safety” med school.
