Dr. Christopher Andrej Hajnik, MD

Dr. Hajnik replaced both hip joints for me. I was in a wheel chair and could not walk anymore. My future looked bleak. I am only 66 and the arthritis come upon me fairly quickly. I had my 8 week postop visit with him today and I must say that I feel so much better. It seems silly to point out that I can now walk, tie my shoes, garden and do all the things I used to take for granted. Big thanks to Dr. Hajnik. He restore my future.

Dr. Hajnik is an outstanding surgeon. The reason for my visit was to discuss hip replacement surgery. He explained everything to me in a clear manner and addressed all my concerns. I am very pleased with the outcome and, there is no more pain! I highly recommend Dr. Hajnik.

Dr Hajnik did my hip replacement and I could not be more pleased with him and his staff. The surgery and recovery went quicker than I expected. Before and after surgery they were there for me.

Dr Christopher Hajnik gave me my tpainfree life back. He is by far the best of the best. I wanted my life back to normal, with a functioning hip and he gave it to me. He is such a pro and tolerated my often silly questions and in the end I have a surgeon I can depend on , look no further.

Rude and hurtful

Dr. Hajnik is a life changer. For over two years I took 3-4 Advil a day and had to constantly ice to deal with the swelling and pain in my knee. My other Orthopedic Surgeon in Encinitas told me it was just early arthritis at the age of 40 and I just needed to strengthen my core to alleviate the pain. I believed him because of the great reviews he had on Yelp. I tried all of the PT he recommended and all the shots he administered: the rooster comb injections, the steroid shots, the PRP injections...nothing worked. After visiting a wonderful Acupuncture therapist named Jennifer Lyons in Carlsbad, CA who I highly recommend, she recommended Dr. Hajnik who performed Knee Replacement Surgery on her father. Instead of a normal MRI administered by most Doctors, his team at CORE in Encinitas performed a "Fat Surpressed MRI." It was able to detect bone marrow lesions scattered throughout my knee bone, i.e. stress fractures in my bone. He told me that he thought these were the… main contributors of my pain but that I did have significant knee arthritis for my age. After trying conservative treatment options before considering this procedure (rest, ice, brace) I quickly realized that was not doing the trick. The procedure he performed was called Subchondroplasty where he fills in those bone fractures with a synthetic bone marrow. He performed the procedure over a year and a half ago and I am still pain free and I haven’t had any swelling. Sure, there is arthritis. But I can play weekend baseball, play with my kids and ski with the family. I will give Dr. Hajnik one of those cheesy pictures of me playing ball or doing something active with my family because he changed my life! When considering the right orthopedic surgeon for your knee pain there is no one else I would trust or recommend than Dr. Hajnik. Thanks again Dr. Hajnik!

Wonder Doctor. 5star experience. I had hip surgery.

Arrogant SOB! Wishing any other surgeon performed my hip replacement. 2 years later pain forever

.75 inch LLD. limp badly. Pain always. 1 year, 9 mo since total left hip replacement. He takes at least 120,000 a year from equipment suppliers. Do you think he cares about you?

I greatly appreciate the skill and professionalism of Dr. Hajnik. I have been a patient of his for about 5 years ever since arthritis in my knees began to limit my activities. I've recently recovered from total knee replacement of my right knee; this is nearly two years after Dr. H performed a TKR on my left knee. Throughout the years of treatment, he has looked after my case as if I was his only patient and winning my confidence and respect from the beginning. He has my complete trust. I strongly recommend him.
