Dr. Christopher Kwon, MD

I’m not someone who writes reviews, and my family member actually asked me not to post this, but I feel like people deserve to know what they might walk into. My experience with Dr. Chris Kwon, the anesthesiologist, was honestly upsetting. He seemed irritated, disconnected, and spent a surprising amount of time on his phone instead of paying attention to the patient. When you’re already anxious, that kind of behavior makes everything feel worse. I sat with this for a while before deciding to write it, but I think it’s only fair to be honest. I personally wouldn’t go back to him, and I can’t recommend him based on what I experienced.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I was very nervous after finding out that I had lung cancer. This doc told me every horrible scenario that could occur from surgery. I want/wanted the truth but this fellow was the grim reaper with horrible bedside manner. Later, the doc that actually performed my surgery said he sounds like a "crepehanger" physician. I thank God I veered away from him!

When the health of my uncle became so poor that there would be no quality of life, We asked about a 2nd opinion from hospice. At which point he became irritated,seemimgly insulted, to the point that he resigned as his Dr. Still wanting to perform more procedures against my uncles will which he ignored. Even as we had power of attorney, he made it extremely difficult for us to perform the tasks he had entrusted us. But did state that if we would sign for more procedures he would return as his Dr. It is most unfortunate that he prolonged his pain & suffering as well as the family,against the will of his patient and those listed as power of attorney

He saved my life. Enough said.
