Dr. Christopher Cole Laganke, MD

I have been extremely happy with DR Laganke and his staff. He has helped me so much and I am very grateful. I some times have issues or questions between scheduled appointments and call the clinic . I always want to talk with Nurse Dawn, she is prompt and knows just how to help. This summer I had a heat Flair Up, I was scared because I did not know what it was! She asked questions and diagnosed the problem. She said she would call my pharmacy soon as she hung up, I had my meds within two hours. I also had a complex problem with my monthly infusion because of Dental Surgery and needing antibiotics. They need to be scheduled in a time frame so as not to interfere with each other. She was so patients to be sure I understood because I have the processing issues that go along with M S! Thank you for the good care and helping me to feel safe in your hands. It means so much! I meet Dr Laganke in late 2021 after 12 plus years of struggling with many DR's to even acknowledge my symptoms. Finally I saw a neurologist who scheduled an MRI. He said it looked somewhat like M S and come back after Covid! A friend with M S suggested DR Leganke. They are not the common ones but nor are visible very real and made my life unplesant. With my first visit he acknowledge my symptoms and suspected M S bud wanted test to confirm. He was correct and started treatment immediately. It has helped but not all will go away. As is true of most M S symptoms. I think if I had found him sooner it would not have worsen. I am so relieved that I found him! H is a wonderful DR and a Christen man who always wants to help. He is very busy but never rushes me, takes time to answer my questions and makes sure I understand.

Been waiting over 2 weeks plus for a simple yes or no answer. Either his staff isn't doing their job or he simply does not care! Which is it????

I had a diagnosis of MS years back. I actually sought treatment for myMs after I RETIREd inn 2012". I used the doctors in Columbus Georgia until I had a relapse iN 2015. I was referred to Dr Laganke in Cullman and began treatments under him. I can tell you he is excellent Dr.He treats u with respect and figures a plan for u, and really cares for his Patients. Dr Chris is a Christian and shows that when u visit him. God BLESS to ALL .

I have been a patient of Dr.LaGanke for 11 years now. When diagnosed with MS, I was having symptoms for about a year prior. When we met, he immediately diagnosed and started treatment. He and his staff have such knowledge, concern, and compassion for their patients. We’ve traveled this journey together and happy to say there has been many more positives than negatives. I attribute that to him and his entire office. God Bless you all!!!

I have been a patient for many years and I absolutely love Dr.LaGanke and how much he has helped me. He really cares about his patients. My main concern is how I have to put up with Dawn and Jim Brown (office manager) when I need my medications renewed or refilled. They both are condescending and have made me go with out my medications. They both do not care about his patients at all.

I have to agree with the previous patient that dealing with Dawn over prescription medicines has been a nightmare. I have had to go without vital medicines many times because she was either late sending them or never sent them to my pharmacy but said she did. She is NEVER wrong, either, lol. I have asked to speak with someone over her and she says "I'm it, girl. I'm all you get. You get to deal with me or nobody." And then she laughed. She has told me twice about other doctors I need to see for conditions I don't even have, too!!! And offered to get me a referral!! What? A referral from a secretary? I really dont think Dr. LAGANK knows what she is doing and I hope and pray someone sees this. He is going to either get sued or lose his license over her.

I have been a patient with Dr. Laganke many years. Since I live out of town over 2 hours away, my prescriptions are mailed to me. So, I have mostly had to deal with Dawn in between my visits every 6 months. I have never seen an office worker try to diagnose a patient like this woman does. She constantly tells me I need to go to another doctor, and is very derogatory toward Dr. Laganke. She forgets to send my prescriptions and makes excuses for her lack of competency. She is very condescending and has violated my hippa privacy rights on numerous occasions. I have asked to speak with Dr. Laganke about this but was told he does not call patients. I guess I will try to bring it up at my next visit. If she continues to be the person I deal with, I will have to find another doctor. I lpok for a class action lawsuit if she does this with everyone. She has made my experience there go from 5 stars to 1. I can only hope that others will speak out about her but she is very intimidating to… patients who know she controlls their meds - so, I doubt many will. Sad that one person. An ruin the reputation of such a well respected doctor.

After going there over 4 years, I have only seen Dr. LAGANKE 2 times. When I have asked to speak with him or bring up issues with my care, I was told point blank that my call would not be returned by him nor even my letter reach him - that it woukd be intercepted by the nurses who control everything. Dawn, especially, who handles prescriptions has told me to not "rock the boat" or I would be kicked out. She has been late with my prescriptions multiple times and one time forgot to send them before she went on vacation which caused me horrible withdrawals. I wanted Dr. LAGANKE to know about this but they all warned me that I would be dismissed as a patient if I complained.
