Dr. Christopher Albert Ritter, MD

Offered no real solution for my issue and told me that he doesn't understand runners because he hates running. Told me to find another sport or form of activity to do. Seemed generally apathetic throughout the whole visit and couldn't even point me to someone who could potentially help me.

Dr. Ritter did 3 ortho surgeries on me following my MVA. I am forever grateful to him, his surgical team,Ecmc and UB MD office staff. I am able to walk. I do have venous insufficiency due to my accident. Thank u Dr. Ritter. I am 4-ever grateful. He is the best of the best.

Dr. Ritter located and repaired a ruptured tendon in my ankle. He and his team did a wonderful job from start to finish and followed up very closely with my post-surgery recovery.

Dr Ritter performed a corrective foot surgery to correct what was done by some quack podiatrist (who I will leave unnamed). The shooting pain I encountered after my bunionectomy has stopped, due to Dr Ritter correcting my foot. Overall, his staff is wonderful-I only had one negative encounter at the Orchard Park office-and called her out on her rudeness. She shut up. I have low tolerance for that kind of behavior. Everyone at the Amherst office office has been great! I cannot thank Dr. Ritter and his staff enough!

After years of pain from a childhood injury dr Ritter was able to repair and I feel that I have a new start

I went and met his assistant Saturday..got an mri monday...had surgery Wednesday..the dr was very busy doing earlier surgeries..when it was my turn I met him, he introduced himself, explained what was going to occur. Little while longer I was out and woke up all repaired. Did not spend a lot of time with him but I get it..he was very busy, and my surgery was pretty cut and dry to him...if I'm jumping up and down in a few months that's all I can ask for.. everyone at ecmc were surgery was done were great too! Thanks dr and crew!

Never Met the Doctor until the day of the operation and never seen him after.

After the doctor told me he could completed surgery in my busy timeframe and that he would have his secretary, Heather call me immediately. A week later an attitude ridden woman calls me and " tells" me when my surgery would be. When I informed her it was not possible, I thought I heard the air release from the Hindenburg. I asked if I could have it sooner and she completely denied me even when I told her I talked to her boss, the doctor about this. She stated " there were more important people ahead of me" I tried to call the doctor, Ritter, but was told he " does not accept or return calls" from another staff member. A " PA takes care of the calls" I reviewed his dictation that was sent to my primary within 3 days. It discusses that he had told and informed me of things he never mentioned or discussed. What is even worse is that I can't get another doctor to take my case because I am still considered " Ritter's" patient. Sounds like another guy that sees you when you go under… and let's the PA do the surgery. I was almost crippled by my back surgeon very well known, who uses this practice all the time. " step into the meat grinder folks, it's not my fault if you are worsened I stated in my dictation which you weren't supposed to see, the additional hazards. Do not even send your pets to this hack

This Doctor knows his stuff and is a very good surgeon.
