Dr. Christopher Gerald Wilkerson, MD

Worst doctor ever. I was referred to Dr. Wilkerson for a spinal surgery consultation. This was to be the final step for spinal surgery after I had been through all the previously required steps, and needed immediate treatment. He didn't even come to the surgical consultation, and instead had his assistant tell me I needed physical therapy and yet another nerve test. Despite the fact that I had already had therapy, tests, and was in line for surgical treatment. We demanded to see him and when he did finally come in, he defended his decision despite my being in intense daily pain. His callousness and uncaring attitude made my wife fire him as my doctor immediately, and cost me four more months of intense pain before I would be able to get surgery. From a different doctor, who took one look at my scans, and did their best to get me in as soon as possible. I was told I did NOT need yet more physical therapy because my vertebrae were in the second doctor's words "grinding bone on bone" and… it would only cause greater pain. It was a gigantic waste of time to even see him, and I spent the remaining months before I could get surgery in excruciating pain, almost completely unable to do even the most basic level of daily life functions. He knowingly sentenced me to months of pain, and did not give a single thought to it.
