Dr. Chun Yen Hsu, MD

Considering why I had to be in your office both times, there really wasn't much to like if I were to be honest, but the entire staff went out of their way both times to make me feel comfortable. It wasn't just 1 person in the office that was friendly either. I have been VERY impressed with every person I had dealt with so far. Both doctors and all the nurses that prepped me for the procedures made sure I was comfortable and made the rather unpleasant experience a lot easier to get through and I don't believe that is a coincidence. Chick-Fil-A is another company whose employees really impress me and I know that is part of their training. For me, your business ranks right up there in terms of customer service and that takes a lot for me to say; I'm pretty tough to impress usually. Truly top notch though!

(1) This medical provider did not provide any verbal consent or information regarding the procedure before I proceeded. (2) During the procedure, I was appalled by this provider's nonchalant careless demeanor in how he treated me as his patient. While undergoing the procedure, this provider was chatting away with his colleague about his most recent vacation, yet when I asked him about something I saw on the computer screen, He stopped me immediately and yelled "DON'T TALK" with the most despicable tone I have ever heard. I was so confused to what I heard so I asked "Excuse me? Why can't I ask you questions about my colon if I'm your patient?" Then he proceeded to tell me to be quiet and pushed me forcefully which caused a significant amount of pain. Afterwards, he proceeded to treat me with a certain hostile demeanor I have NEVER encountered in my entire life by a medical provider. I am absolutely APPALLED by this provider's treatment of me while I am undergoing a very invasive… procedure. This provider has absolutely NO REMORSE for his actions either.

I had an aweful experience with Dr. Hsu in my most recent visit. He spent minimum amount of time with you in the office. He asked minimum amount of questions without truly know what really was the problem, what would meet my needs, cause, or future prevention. He seem to like to push some new meds. He doesn't give you much chance to ask questions about the meds. Immediately, he asked you to go out, and wait outside. At the end, he had some front office personnel who lack medicial knowledge to explain anything to me. The new meds was given without any packaging nor detail explaination paperwork. The front office personnel couldn't answered my question and not willing to "bother" the doctor to get my question to answer. It was just an overall horrible experience. During my waiting in the office, I was wondering why patient went in, then it came out in less than 2-3 minutes, then they wait a long time AGAIN. Now, I finally understand that he treat his patient -like- some sort… of money generating machine. He is not someone who would give you any time of the day. Take your money else where. At the end, I found out the new meds from CVS that would cause drowsiness which it means I can't drive nor work. I am very surprise to find out from this site that he had 31 years of experience as a Gastroenterologist, and an Internist. It's because he is so lack of love, care or compassion to be truly a good doctor. I wish there is a way to get a refund. He is one of the worse doctor that I ever had.
