Dr. Chunlin Yang, MD

I love her she is the only one that listens and has me figured out. She is caring and you can call her if you have an emergency and she will call you within three hours no matter what the time. I highly recommend her. Seen her for years wish I had found her sooner in my illness had a lot of bad Drs and not the right medicine my last one put me on pills and said that's all he could do forever she changed everything and now I am more stable. She saved my life. :)

First doc after many years that takes the time to actually see you as a person and not a number.

My past few years of treatment with Dr Yang have been by far the most thorough and compassionate she is extremely professional, caring and knowledgeable and also seeks patient input on how I feel while going through my care. She is always responsive with following up and very concerned about any medication interactions or changes and side effects - pro active and tries new therapies when available -- I highly recommend her for anyone seeking a good doctor for bi polar / depression / anxiety issues.

Dr. Yang is thoughtful, encouraging, perceptive, thorough and just plain nice. I feel lucky having a doctor like her.

Here's the thing about Asian cultures: mental health is extremely stigmatized. Dr. Yang understands this but is able to explain things in a way that makes you feel comfortable speaking to an Asian doctor without thinking that they don't believe you or that they will think, quite simply, that you're crazy. It is very comfortable to switch between Mandarin and English with her, and she really tries hard not only to make the best diagnosis as possible but also to prescribe medicine that is more cost-effective (generic brands). She really knows what she's doing, and she has really good instincts as well.

I was very comfortable with Dr. Yang. She asked a lot of questions to come up with a diagnosis. She was very thorough.Her recommendation for my medication has definitely been helpful.

Quickly understood my point of view, and could simplify the issue by repeating and clarifying, making sure she had not assumed anything. Takes excellent notes and follows up on all details. Very professional.
