Dr. Claudette Joy Mckenzie-Albin, MD

If you are ok with some one who knows what she is doing but will not really spend time to explain - she is the one for you. I tried to find different doctor but Got some one even worse. So thinking to go back :(Maybe I shall switch to cedars....

This Dr has been given terrible ratings for years, and then all of the sudden she is getting top scores of 4 and 5 stars. Suspicious. She is a nightmare doctor. Stay away from her!

She explained the options for me in dealing with fibroids and did not sugarcoat the process. I appreciated the honesty since I do not need a doctor to baby me. I opted out of doing the surgery or ablation to treat the condition. I have gone there on other well woman exams, and her office seemed much more knowledgeable than my previous physican who had a PA that didn't even know that myomas are fibroids. What vastly different experiences people have with the same person?

I visited Dr. McKenzie for my first ultrasound and she had my husband and I cracking up the entire time. She was gentle and answered our questions before we could ask them. She hung out for a while to see if we had any additional questions and left us feeling relaxed and happy to embark on this new chapter in our lives. I would definitely recommend her, she is relaxed without straying away from being professional. I have seen Dr. McKenzie 3 times and my perception has not changed. Her office staff is great as well. When I did my in-take for my pregnancy everyone shared in my excitement and that made me feel very special.

Dr. Mackenzie and her Office Staff are WONDERFUL. I do not have any complaints. She has delivered my two children and I plan on maintaining her as my doctor for any future ones. The Office Staff is very warm and courteous, They make the office a wonderful place to be a patient in!!

I have nothing else but great things to say about Dr McKenzie.

Dr. M-A is a rare type of doctor. She is honest, intelligent, caring, understanding, and genuine. I really appreciate how frank she was about the poor lifestyle choices I was making that would affect my baby. We worked through the problems together. I felt she treated me like a loving friend. I highly recommend her.

I don't think she is qualified to be a doctor. She is impatient, condescending, and ignorant. She does not explain her diagnosis or provide for treatment options. When asked to explain further, she becomes very condescending. She doesn't address her patient's concerns nor does she return phone calls. Her only motivation seems to be money and not the well being of her patients!

This doctor tends to send only her assistant and nurses to do the regular pap exam. When i started bringing up issues and concerns about a condition that i have, they totally brushed it off every single time. Finally, 3 years later, i had an MRI done for other reasons and accidentally found a problem with my ovary. When i asked specially for the doctor and not a nurse to see me, the staff told me there is no guarantee. If the doctor doesn't want to see me, she'd still send a nurse!!! On the appointment day, I waited for 1 1/2 hrs to see the doctor. She basically spent no more than 5 minutes with me and told me there is nothing to worry about. i asked her if this has anything to do with my complaints all these years, she kept saying no. Finally, with more test done, she realized it was rather serious. She gave me her 5 cents of advice and ended with "you can come back, see other doctors or don't see other doctors." well, i saw at least 3 more doctors now, they all think i need surgery… ASAP. So i don't know what Dr. McKenzie was thinking when she said that to me. Also, her attitude is very cold and not caring. I knew at least 3 women who used to go to her and switched because of her attitude. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO HER. There are many more way better doctors than this one.

DR. MCKENZIE AND HER STAFF ARE WONDERFUL. I RECENTLY BECAME A PATIENT OF DR. MCKENZIE UPON FINDING OUT I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY FIRST CHILD. HER NURSE (GRACE) WAS WONDERFUL IN MEETING WITH ME AND GOING OVER THE DOS AND DONTS OF PREGNANCY AND IS ALWAYS THERE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I MAY HAVE. I RECENTLY SUFFERED A MISCARRIAGE AND DR. MCKENZIE WAS VERY SYMPATHETIC AND CARING IN HELPING ME COPE WITH MY LOSS. I THINK SHE HAS WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANNER AND I AM SO GRATEFUL SHE'S MY DOCTOR.
