First, every ophthalmologist that we consulted holds her in very high regard by stating she is the retinal surgeon you want or I would want to resolve my retinal issue. That spoke volumes to us. They were right; Dr. Hooten is an excellent retinal surgeon in all regards. She is calm, cool, direct and compassionate. Mom's vitreoretinal surgery went well. Her repaired eye is now performing better than her other eye. Glad we were referred to her. Unequivocally, she restored my Mom's left eye's vision. Thanks Dr. Hooten.

I am having injections in my eye for Macular. I was having pain 2 weeks after which concerned me. I called that morning and they worked me in. Dr. Hooten put my mind to rest that there was no infection! Instant relief!

I had my first visit with Dr. Hooten a few days ago. She was fantastic. She listened, understood me, analyzed my test results, explained things in "normal" language, and really cared. She eliminated my fears that I had gotten from my previous Ophthalmologist. Love her and look forward to my next visit.
