Dr. Clifford Alfonzo Hancock, MD

By far the most amazing Doctor Ever! He delivered both by children, my oldest being almost 16 years old. I had some complications after birth and he would call me twice a week just to check on me. I’ll never forget Dr Hancock. I hope he is doing well these days.

Dr. Hancock was by far the BEST doctor I have EVER had!!! I have truly been struggling to find a replacement OB/GYN for him. I have had many referrals but there are none that have the same genuine concern for my health. He was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. If he would just come out of retirement, I would be ever so grateful. I miss his wife Maria too. It was simply a wonderful family practice where I felt like part of the family. A rare gem his office was!

I had a most wonderful experience with this wonderful doctor 36 years ago!! Never forgot him, never will! And also, my daughter was born on his birthday! I loved him and his RN Candy so much!

Its been a few years since I have seen Dr. Hancock as a patient. I first went to him in the late 1980's with severe pain. I needed a surgery in which he removed my left ovary and falopian tube due to endometriosis. Excellent bed side manner and care.I'll never forget the prayer he shared with me right before I was put under. And you could tell how much the OR staff respected him. I continued to see him for approximately 28 years at his private practice. What an outstanding wonderful man! Donny his nurse and Maria were outstanding! When he closed his private practice I hunted him down and found him at the Memorial Children's Clinic and made an appt. to see him. Mostly because I just wanted to see him. He is that kind of doctor. I'll never forget the care he gave me and how he always asked about my family. There is NO one that can compare with him. I now see another gynecologist. And wouldn't you know she went to medical school with Dr. Hancock and has spoken so highly of him. I… wish him and his family all the best!!!

Dr. Hancock has been part of my family for as long as I could remember, from my oldest niece 23 years age to my nephew who is 5. He delivered my sister’s 4 girls, my three kids, and my youngest sister’s son. I am now 6 months pregnant with my fourth child, and feeling so immensely sadden that Dr Hancock’s practice is closed, wanting so badly to see him on my prenatal visits and seeing his wife Maria at the front desk and Donnie his nurse taking me back to take my vitals. Most of all feeling very blessed that Dr. Clifford Hancock was my OBGYN. Dr Hancock is an amazing human being, I wish him all the best and he will be definitely missed, and very hard to replace. He has given many families joys throughout his entire practice. Dr Hancock: thank you for everything you do.
