Dr. Clinton Edward Massey, MD

Fall of 2015, Dr. Massey performed a right SI Joint fusion for me after years of misdiagnoses and pain. He knew exactly what the problem was and was able to fix it with minimal down time and SO much less pain. I highly recommend him! I hope he's still available if, or when, I need the left SI Joint done.

Dr Massey isn't a ball of small talk, he may even come off as rude. But what I've observed is, he's concerned about the issue you came to see him for. Not whether your dog is doing fine or if the rain is too much today! He did a kyphoplasty on me (repairing a cracked vertebra) and I've not had a pain there since. I think the operating room is where is his best, not office visits! Who cares as long as the work done on you is top notch!

I was so sad to find that Dr Massey was still working. I had heard he had retired in Augusta and that made me very happy. I had disc 5 and 6 surgery done. My first reaction was so good because the pain had been so bad and I felt so much better. Then my strong deep teacher voice did not come back. I understood I might have voice problems for a week of so but my Mickey Mouse voice went on and on. He sent me to speech specialist. Nothing changed. When I try to talk to him about this problem , he showed not one ounce of compassion. I will never forget him saying " I like this voice much better than your old one". This voice changed my teaching for rest of my career. I have learned to live it but will never forget it and never ever recommend him to anyone. So sad he is still working.

Messed up for life! Run! Don't let him operate. Find a capable doctor!

Went to Dr Massey for a year. He told me that I did not hurt where I said I did. Told me it was Impossible to hurt like I said I did. First said I had tennis elbow then carpal tunnel. Actually had a problem in my neck. Went to Dr Hardie who figured out my problem in 2 visits and operated on me. I was fine after that.

It's very upsetting that you treated my wife like an off the street drug user, when she came into your office, not for medications or a prescription, but becausse she is in extreme pain and has several problems associated with a neck/back injury. You stated she is faking her pain and injury; which is totally false and may be done by others. However, my wife's integrity is in tact and your unprofessionism and lack of people skills is a disgrace. She came to you for help, not to be accused of being a lyer and drug addict. I hope for your sake she isn't seriously injuried, because taking your license will be a top priority for me and my congressman. Thanks for not taking of my family while I'm out fighting for your feedom.

This man has the worst bedside manner and shows no compassion or empathy.

1 week and 6 days out of surgery for anterior discectomy 5/6 & 6/7 with fusion can't sing Dr. Massey's praises enough I have gotten along so well back to a fairly normal routine no ladders and not alot of over head things which took care of painting I had planned on doing beforethe Hoidays otherwise doing great

dr. massey and his staff are "GREAT" people. The staff helped us during our financial hardship. My husband needed surgery and Dr. Massey did an excellent job. He took very good care of my husband. Thanks a million, "Dr. Massey". You and your staff are always in our prayers.
