Dr. Colette M Dominique, MD

My doctor was out sick and couldn't deliver my baby. Because of a bad experience in Slidell I didn't want no one else but my doctor. Dr. Dominique came in and was very truthful to me. As a black woman it is scary finding a doctor with your best interest in mind. With the mortality rate high for women of color it is imperative that doctor's have you in mind. Because of her I would like to think she save my life and save what could have been a bad situation into one that has me still here. Dr. Dominique you are a God send. Thank you for being honest and thank you for being you. God Bless

Dr. Dominique rushed thought my appointment and did not give me a chance to ask questions. I told a nurse that I wanted to ask a few questions, and only then did Dr. Dominique return and listen to me. I did not feel very comfortable around her and found her judgemental and condescending in the way she shared information and options about my healthcare. I will not schedule another appointment with her. Additionally, despite my efforts to change doctors, MacArthur OB/GYN did not allow me this option, as per their policy, which I find especially outrageous.

Seems to have little time with patient and has loss her passion for being a doctor. She appears to be stressed out and comes across as unpersonal. Did not show up to delivery until last minute and did not follow up in hospital. Hospital staff said she was down the street at her office and she was telling her staff she was on her way. Finally they couldn't wait any longer. She sent another unknown doctor to me with no explanation and came in delivery room with attitude and then zipped off. I was very disappointed because I thought she would have more consideration and I chose her to be my doctor not a stranger.

I've been a patient of Dr. Dominque since 2005 and she delivered 2 out of my 3 children. Yes the wait times can be longer than usual, but she has every patients interest in mind. Her staff is great and I value her expertise. Also the web portal is very user friendly.

Dr. Dominique is amazing! Shes been my doctor for both my boys and now with my baby girl! She always makes me feel comfortable and answers all my questions and concerns. I would strongly recommend her!

I have been visiting Dr. Dominique for 8 years now. I had my first child under her care and am now pregnant with my second also under her care. She makes you feel comfortable. She is very easy to talk to and very open to any questions/concerns. She is great at explaining things and making it easy to understand. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

This is my second time coming with Dr. Dominique for my pregnancy. I really liked her and she is very nice. I feel very comfortable around her and any question I have she answers it. The staff is also very nice and welcoming every time I come. I would definitely keep coming back to her and will refer her to my friends. I am very happy she is my OBGYN. :)

Dr. Colette Dominique is a great doctor! Although she was on a tight schedule, she allowed me to sit with a lengthy list of questions that I had for her. She's very thorough with her answers and explanations.

The wait time is actually less than 5 minutes. The office staff is always kind and welcoming.

Dr. Dominique is an Excellent doctor. She is very detailed orientated and follows through greatly. I would refer her to anyone needing an OB/GYN.
