Dr. Colleen Mason Zittel, MD

Dr Zittel completed a nerve conduction study that identified I have periphial neuropathy in my feet. She reveiwed my medical records and provided me with several options of what could be the cause of my numbness. I am currently working through those items with my specialists. She is very thorough and easy to talk with about your medical issues.

My neurosurgeon and his staff spoke very highly of Dr Zittel. We looked at her reviews and we liked the fact that she has great reviews but my experience was beyond any expectations. Dr zittel was super genuine, warm, humble and super caring. She made sure my questions are answered. She kept asking me if I needed a break during the procedure and if I needed a blanket or an extra pillow. She asked me in details about my symptoms and area of pain. She gave me the results right there and then and assured me that she would send the results her self to my neurosurgeon. Her professionalism, kindness, knowledge and compassion was very much appreciated. Dr zittel is an Awsome dr.

I had been having problems with a trapped nerve which had been causing stabbing type pains in the top of my left thigh. This had been going on many years and was getting worse so I finally plucked up the courage to go have it investigated. Myself & my husband had both had previous excellent experiences with Jewett Orthopedic so it was the natural choice. I was referred to Dr. Colleen Zittel for help in diagnosing the condition. Dr. Zittel and her team were professional & friendly - putting me completely at ease during the extensive testing session - which was totally painless and quite interesting! My condition was diagnosed & I was sent to CDI for my treatment. Dr. Peter Bove treated me there - he was also first class and obviously an expert in his field. Turned out he had actually also treated my husband many years ago for a back condition!!! I am so very grateful to both of them because I can say that 5 weeks after having the treatment, it appears that the pain has gone!! The… actions that used to trigger the pain no longer do it!!! I just wish I hadn't waited so long to go see them. I really didn't think it would be treatable without a painful invasive procedure - but I was wrong - big thank you Dr. Zittel and Dr. Bove - excellent teamwork!!!

Dr Zittel was personable, thorough and very professional. This woman is obviously at the top of her field and makes the extra effort to ensure her patients get the proper treatment. She gave me test results before I left the office, was direct and to the point with diagnosis, offered additional opinion and even followed up with a call, less than an hour after my departure. Everyone at Jewitt has lived up to expectation but this doctor proved to be exceptional, even to this cynic. Could not have asked for a better experience.
