He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Co-Chair of Americas Hernia Society: Education Committee, a board member of the International Hernia Collaboration and former co-director of the Center for Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery. He was recognized with the 2017 Top Doc Award and has been published many times for his work in robotic surgery techniques.Dr. …Ballecer's care philosophy is to treat the people who come to him for care as if they were his family; as such, he has an extensive process to guide patients through an optimal pre, during, post operation process to encourage successful outcomes.
