Dr. Cordelia Sandra Schwarz, MD

She appears to be very limited in her ability to see her patient as a whole person and solely focuses on her disease. She fails to engage with her patient and does not educate patients and caregivers about the disease.

Dr. Schwarz is wonderful. She is thorough, competent and took time to truly understand my symptoms. Her workup was very thorough. Highly recommend.

She is quick to dismiss any of my concerns and would always cut me off in a very unprofessional manner. She also failed to properly diagnose my mother's condition and we had to go to another neurologist.

Dr. Schwarz is a very nice and caring person. However if yu need good/excellent medical care for complex issues I would avoid her.

If you’re looking for a quick medication fix, Dr. Schwarz should go to the top of your list. Dr. Schwarz unfortunately also falls prey to stereotyping/labeling symptoms as ‘mental health’ issues, rather than investigating any potential medical cause. However, if you want well-educated, informative action, including follow-up diagnostic testing, thinking outside of the box and understanding the actual cause of symptoms, I’d highly recommend seeking help elsewhere.

Dr. Schwarz is very nice person...howerever she is usless when it comes to treating Parkinson disease...doesn't know the drugs nor reasonably able to make adjustements. If you need a Movement Disorder doctor go elsewhere; if you need a general neurologist...she's OK to start with but unless it's migraines which can be treated with Botox..go elsewhere.

NO EQUALS. This Doctor found out what was wrong with my wife when 10 others were off. She is kind and professional. Her Nurse is great!!!

I was referred to Dr. Schwarz because I get migraines. She was very sweet and took the time to go over information with me. She explained various possible treatments and involved me in the decision-making process, which I really appreciated. She thoroughly explained what to expect from the medication she prescribed, how to take it, and possible side effects. She was very knowledgable about my insurance and her office got prior authorization for an MRI quickly. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Schwarz is caring and compassionate. She is a pleasure to deal will, she listen carefully and while conservative in her approach, she provides excellent care. She understands movement disorders and, equally important, she knows the medications that will help with symptoms. She keeps on top of clinical trials and the latest research through her affiliation with NY Presbyterian Columbia Medical Center. Dr. Schwarz provided help where 2 other neurologists prescribed meds which did little for me.
